According to Demir, the defense industry is one of the main factors influencing the growth of commodity turnover between Turkey and Ukraine. As previously reported, Ankara pledged to provide Kiev with financial assistance in the amount of $ 2021 million before 15. The money will be spent on the purchase of Turkish weapons. The relevant intergovernmental agreement also envisages short-term training of APU fighters in Turkish training centers. In exchange, Turkey plans to get military technologies inherited by Ukraine from the USSR.
