It turned 60 years tested in Novaya Zemlya, the first Soviet torpedo with a nuclear T-5. An explosion of ammunition fired by the C-144 submarine destroyed a small squadron of two submarines, two minesweepers and a pair of destroyers. The power of the explosion was 10 kilotons.

But in the archives for sure there are still unique shots. And it seems to be nothing special, but that's just for the soul takes. I remember I watched Lavochkin’s “Storm” trials with a high.

Is it released from the submarine? The frames show that they are immersed in water.

request In Miri then and now there is no submarine that will survive the explosion of its own nuclear-powered torpedo. There was one boat in the USSR which “in theory” had a chance to escape from the shock wave of its own torpedo, but they were all written off feel
Actually, that's why they were loaded on board only - two jokes, because in essence it is "to cause fire on oneself." Effectively - yes, heroism - yes, but posthumously.

These are tests of a charge, but not torpedoes. no one tested the torpedo; it was standard, long-tested and long-adopted.
