Notes of the Colorado Cockroach. In the capital Bandershtat. Pudding impressions

29

Hello, my dear readers! You know, it’s nice to leave your dear home in old age and take a vacation! And not just like that, to engage in chitin-dressing under the rays of the tender evening Crimean sun, and with benefit.

No, we can give it up before the Crimea, here, you know, we are almost out of politics, and all these fights are about borders and belonging to us along chitin. But now you will know your Crimea and so, without me. And with me where you will get difficult.

For example, in the capital of Bandershtat, the glorious city of Lviv.

By the way, I honestly worked on my vacation; there are no complaints from Tarakanushka. Only took the oath that without her to Chernobyl or foot. She, you know, is also interested in visiting the places where our mighty intellect went. So in perspective.

And it was interesting to look at Lviv with its heel eyes. Purely from such motives, mercantile. I am writing here, talking about some of our aspects, but I did not bother to visit that hole from where everything came out into the world. Well, what a descriptor I am then for such our Square reality?

I must say, Lviv did not disappoint me.

Met, as expected, fog and rain. But then everything was dispelled, and some kind of appearance appeared. And I went, at my eight, on the main road from the station to the center, carefully looking around the neighborhood.

Immediately I realized that I was not in Kiev. Do we have the first to take to the streets? Yes, like all normal cities, wipers and public utilities. The capital is still ...

And here the first on the streets are the catchers of human souls. And tel.

The first ones I saw were Jehovah's Witnesses. Well, wow, the day began, it seemed. What will happen next?

And then there were catchers tel. At every crossroads. And I must say that a lot of crossroads in Lviv. The city is so smeared.

Here they are catchers. For a small commission are ready to provide you with work there, abroad. And I must say that they promise that kind of money, which, if you make money in Ukraine, it’s not a body trading thing. In general, it makes no sense to sit here, because "the path of the people does not grow." There. Here's how from there - this is a separate conversation, not now.

First, I will just show you a little of the city, describe some strange things about it, and then, because the epiphany condescended me much later, about some of my conclusions.

Generally, the city is old. Very old and beautiful. But the impression is that recently either the war ended, or an extraordinary Maidan. But there are no hands and money for the restoration of everything that has been torn down. The roads are all, absolutely everything in the center of the paving stones. It, of course, was built long ago and conscientiously, and the stone does not break. Nearly. Well, plus a building material for barricades or throwing in the near in any place there.

Is it beautiful? Handsomely. Just shoot a movie historical. History at every turn, along with lovers thereof. By the way, just a huge number of tourists from Poland. They walk, popshikyvayut on their mov, I have so slightly hung ears, good, slightly yes rosum.

Dissatisfied with the pans that their Lemberg in this state. Express disapproval and concern.

And now the subtext is so many, as if they were taking Lemberg back to themselves soon, and a major overhaul would come to them. Well the right, as buyers go to the apartment.

Well, if suddenly Lviv becomes Lemberg, it’s not a penny, and it doesn’t even have a hryvnia. Especially if you turn into the courtyards. There, you know, real life. In his best.

Here it is, for example.

Naturally, I did not ignore the market. Well, how is it - I have not been on the market?

You know, and here, as in Kiev in 90-x - where the area - there and the market. Traded by all who can and what can. Those who are richer are in the market, and those who are poor are near.

I noticed that there are only very lazy mushrooms that do not trade here. Or who the apples are not ugly. Mushrooms - for all tastes and colors.

These macromycetes, I guess and pushed me later.

Naturally, the indispensable report on "how much it is worth a bite to eat." Well, as if to work in Poland, you ride - nothing, if not - you need to think.

But - on any wealth.

In, this is especially for you, the Russians. As you can see, your ruble is quite self even in Lviv ruble. So, be proud, for even there, in the West, Ukraine, in the sense that those who come with the ruble, will redeem themselves for the ruble. Although I would not risk it so much.

And in my research I came to a landmark place. Where the spirit of the Square went. It is not far from the place where the Bandera street intersects with Bandera Avenue. Not far from the monument, you know, Stepan Bandera. This is Lviv, and not something there ...

I will tell you a terrible secret, it was within these walls that our famous jump rope "hto not jumping - ..." was born. Although purely in my opinion, if all the racers were given a rag, and placed along city buildings, in a couple of hours the city would look like a showcase.

Closed, as you can see, apparently, a true wrestler and a fan must have a good sleep to gain strength. For jumping.

This, as you know, agitation. On the next show Maidan. The whole city calls, go, they say, and declare. Although it is possible to do this and almost official. Well, people do not like to write letters to us. Such is the hitch in the brain. Here you are, speak, and they will hear you. The only question is who and where.

I, I confess, stood, listened to what people say, responding to the call "Tell the truth in their voices." Thank God you won't hear that. Here in a voice would shout. Although it seemed like a day was a worker, and they should not have given lay-offs at local clinics ...

This is also a form of protest. "Ni" is not "hello" in English, it is "no" in our opinion. Hello from those who have other principles in their heads.

And this is our valiant ATOshnye. There will be songs all day and music to play. Well and a call by car see: "we will help valorous defenders". Help, yes. But without a twinkle.

Flags of all friends and allies. Inexpensive. On 10 hryvnia. Looked - "the whole world is widely represented." I never knew that we have Turkey as an ally. Okay, there the US and the European Union, but these? Georgian flags as much as a bundle in the background. It turns out that Georgians are almost brothers to us, they dug the sea with them.

But when and where is Israel? I could not stand it, I asked the seller. "Shh ... the stinkers gave dawals ..." Well, if they gave them, okay. Do not let

But this is already a fairy ... This is already old. Here, in Kiev, they have not been buying for two years now, and, accordingly, it would never occur to anyone to sell. Neither mats nor toilet paper with the same character.

And here it’s not even the complete frostbite and lack of culture. Although it is. Bust, even in my opinion. Kievans are smarter, so no one will buy this for a long time, and who bought it, he managed to throw it out.

Fuck knows how to turn everything. Is not it?

And here ... Province ...

Well, probably enough about our crap? Oh, no, not enough. Still I will throw.

This is the entrance to the observation tower. It is written like "you are here, and the entrance is there!". In Ukrainian and English. It turns out that the speakers of the Russian language are not expected to break in the wrong place. So - be proud.

In the tower there is another attraction - the clock. More than two hundred years ticking. Ancestors were able to do, right? Oh, then there was no Ukraine here yet ...

And the views from the tower are beautiful. You look, and you forget what's going on down there.

Historical city, yes ... Speaking of history. Guess what is the main monument in Lviv? I know that from the first attempt they guessed.

Here, around him, is going to the whole ... urban frenzy.

People are quieter and with their heads chose a public garden nearby.

For all tastes: cards, checkers, backgammon, chess. The unofficial name is "square of clever men".

Also a landmark. Earlier, as you can see, elected representatives of the people took care of their health. And they visited, they say, from the mayor to the cleaning lady. Now that the rope has replaced everything, the hall is closed. Completely closed.

I'll tell you more about the monument to the historical event. And a historical person.

This is Yuri Kulchitsky. Great Ukrainian, Galician, hero of defense Seen 1863 year. It was this man who taught Europe to drink coffee. All One. For which he is grateful to Ukraine and erected a monument. It's not entirely clear why not Europe. But the main thing is that the person was good. And the real Galician. Strong, like an oak. Imagine how much coffee it was necessary to vyzhrat to teach all of Europe?

There are monuments and other worthy Ukrainians. Grushevsky, Verbitsky, Sheptytsky, Mitskevich, Danil Galitsky. Shevchenko stands alone.

With Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky the same nonsense is going on, like with everything else.

Oil painting: cathedral, monument. And - the marketplace. And it is worth the metropolitan, whether it blesses all of this, or stretches out her hand in surprise, asking: is there really no other place?

But not found.

That's how they live. Honestly, a completely different Ukraine.

I left the city already in the dark, having seen a lot of things, just the “Notes” format doesn’t accommodate so much, and you, dear readers, will tire you. And again in the rain.

What I want to say. Well, I have seen many cities and towns. There is, where they live richer. There is, where they live more beautifully. Where there is poor, but with dignity.

But now I can safely say that they are not living anywhere worse than in Lviv. It seems to be a beautiful city. But there is some kind of provincial doom in him that on the houses, on the inhabitants.

Ruin complete that in the economy, that in their heads. More precisely, the second generates the first. Maybe there are some special mushrooms?

Maybe the truth is, it is better to return Lemberg to the Poles? In order not to suffer?

I read with interest all your articles, and even long ones. But you probably should not be so dependent on the "cockroach" that you recall several times in the article?
    Cockroaches no complaints

Maybe she will do homework, not peer review?

Poles, by and large, horseradish, not Lviv. They were a laying between the period of the foundation of the city and its ownership of Austria-Hungary.

Colorado hi and thank you very much.
Lviv, when it was never Ukrainian, in fact, it is a city of Poles and Jews, but not like not Ukrainians, as evidenced by the deplorable state of old houses ... they are not interesting to farmers.
And an interesting poster on a typewriter ...
work for 12-15 zlotys per hour, this translates into rubles 191 - 239 rubles per hour .. let's say that if this is true, then even for Russia, with its not very rich province this is MUCH. Now it’s clear why the main streams of “money earners” reached Poland

Judging by the number of Ukrainians who decided in this way to earn extra money, they have a different opinion, although many of them simply have no other choice ...

Yes, there were recently official data that in any, the poorest (in our opinion (or the opinion of the Russian media - whatever)) EU country, the minimum wage is higher than in Russia.

Well, not in any ... It’s already overkill, of course, but in Poland it’s still present, although according to the stories, not everything is so rosy, the working hours there become cheaper, but housing and food costs are rising. Poles are also those "fruits"

it is possible that the salary is higher. Only against this background, it is necessary to take into account both expenses and social programs and leave net extra earnings. And as you know in Europe, and the costs are higher and the social sphere is worse (medicine, kindergartens, utilities, etc.)

Comrade Tarakan respect for an interesting report. ))) But there are provincialism in the cities of the Russian Federation. The first time I was in Rostov-on-Don, in the old part of the city on the right bank. THERE WAS STRONGLY SURPRISED BY THE DELICITIES of the houses where people lived. comparing him with Alma-Ata (where he came from) he was amazed, but how can one live like that. And being in Saratov was even more amazed having walked from the local government building for about 15 minutes to the side of the church, I got the feeling that I got from the 21st century to the 19th, I saw wooden sidewalks for the first time, they were dirty and scared to walk on.

So no one screams in these cities that "CE Europe", that’s the difference. And no one there is recruiting for work in Poland. I know those who went there, work 12 hours, after 12. One week is a day shift, Saturday is a short day, Sunday is a day off and shift change, the next week is nightly 12 hours. Earnings, about 40 thousand per ruble. Job? At the foundry, hammer the slag and other troubles on castings with a sledgehammer. All 12 hours. And so 6 months, that is six months. Lad with higher education. And what to do, you need to live and feed the family.

I was in Lviv a couple of times about 8 to 9 years ago. After Donetsk, the asphalt in the sleeping areas, where there is no pavers, was simply shocking. Perennial pits in the pit. And the courtyards in the historical center are just a song - although picturesque, but devastating.

Come to us Novocherkassk and with the same jokes-jokes, please describe our dirt and transport. Right now, for example, leaf fall, and no one thinks to sweep it even on the most important streets. I’m completely silent about the yards. And also monuments everywhere. At the administration (city hall) - some Cossack sits on a bench. On the lawn in the middle of the square there are crooked horses, which are periodically knocked down by asleep drivers. And a lot of Platov in various places. But the beautiful houses of the mid-19th century are falling apart and they are simply demolished. Look, for example, the clinic that was in such a building burned down, but no one thinks to restore.
As for transport, the tram that was the first in the south of Russia ceased to exist. Now, small Korean-style buses with small benches that Russian people cannot sit on are rushing around the town. As, however, and stand, because the height is about 180 centimeters. And they are all rotten to such an extent that the holes glow from the inside. So their drivers came up with a cover for these holes with advertising film.
In short, beyond the Moscow Ring Road we have complete devastation.

When it was one country, one people, my parents lived there, my father served and stayed. Thank God in the 90s I had the smart mind to go back to my homeland. Often I was there, really liked it, had a lot of friends, classmates, fun spent time. In the Soviet Union, this city was called Little Paris. The last time was about 10 years ago at a friend’s wedding. The city and people changed a lot, unfortunately, not for the better. It looked like an aging lonely and abandoned bride at the altar., in wedding dress, fabulous makeup on a wrinkled face.
