The Verkhovna Rada submitted a bill providing for a temporary restriction for citizens to travel to Russia. The document is registered on the website of the Parliament.

The full title of the document sounds like "Draft Law on Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine (regarding the introduction of a temporary restriction on the right of Ukrainian citizens to leave Ukraine to the aggressor state)". He was registered under the number 7187.

The authors of the initiative were the deputies of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc, Andrei Nemirovsky and Andrei Shinkovich, as well as out-of-fraction MP Andrei Denisenko. The text of the document is not given.

Last week, the head of the SBU, Vasily Gritsak, proposed banning trips to Russia to Ukrainian politicians and officials. The ministry has prepared a bill that provides for a criminal visit for a similar visit for up to six years.

On Friday, the Verkhovna Rada adopted in the first reading the Petro Poroshenko’s proposed law on the reintegration of Donbass. Russia is named in the document "aggressor country", and the territories of Donetsk and Lugansk regions - "temporarily occupied". In the Kremlin, the wording of the document called "unacceptable", reports RIA News.
