Over 140 armament units arrived in September at ZVO troops

Over 140 units of modern weapons and military equipment, including 30 modernized tanks T-72B3, entered the troops of the Western Military District in September. This was announced on Monday by the head of the district press service Igor Muginov.

Since the beginning of the year, about 750 units of new and modernized models of weapons, military and special equipment have been received by the troops of the Western Military District. Only in September, troops received more than 140 new types of equipment, including 30 modernized tanks T-72B3

According to him, the communication units received 15 command and staff machines P-149MA1.

The equipment installed in them allows you to quickly track on the electronic maps of the area all changes in the situation on the battlefield, the position of your troops and the enemy, quickly make operational and tactical calculations, timely assign tasks to subordinate units

Also, 18 modernized automated casting stations of ARS-14KM, intended for decontamination, degassing and disinfection of weapons and military equipment, were received by the radiation, chemical and biological protection units.

In total, in 2017, in the framework of the planned process of re-equipment, the troops of the Western Military District plan to receive more than a thousand units of modern and modernized models of weapons and military equipment
