Catalan Trampetz

The referendum on independence in Catalonia, which shook the whole of European democracy, in its consequences may have the effect of the presidency of Donald Trump, but in Europe. The head of Catalonia, Carlos Puchdemon, after the vote, made a statement: “The cruelty of the policemen has disgraced Spain”. Compare: Spain’s Prime Minister Rajoy said about the illegality of the referendum, and Puchdemon about the disgrace of Spain, which one is stronger? Not only Spain was disgraced, but the whole European democracy.

What will end story it is difficult to say with the Catalan referendum, however, if it was held, it means that someone needed it. More importantly, he revealed the false European democracy as Trump revealed the fake American media. This will have more serious consequences than the Catalan referendum itself, any end of it.

After the referendum of batons on the streets of Barcelona, Maria Zakharova has already concluded: "The West has no moral right to say anything about human rights and their violation in the Crimea." It is possible to compare the Crimean and Catalan referendums, both are referendums, and they are held in defiance of the central government. In Catalonia, the referendum passed without the Crimean "polite people", not under the "gunpoint", so what? Received rubber bullets and batons from the Spanish National Guard, and the defeat of polling stations.

These are visible comparative data, but, in fact, the Catalan referendum suggests analogies with the collapse of the USSR-Russia, namely, the breakaway Soviet Ukraine then. There were many illusions that the fraternal republic would maintain close ties, respect the common past, and she promised it all so, and then turned into Bandera with her physiognomy ...

The Red Empire of the USSR let go of its richest Ukrainian province, will there be enough democracy in the European Empire of the EU to repeat the generosity and ... wisdom of the Red Empire? Spain, and Europe, have two ways out of this situation: bad and very bad, but they will not be able to return to the state before the referendum, as if it didn’t exist, as Raha says. Try - choose a very bad option, Bandera Ukraine.

Another question behind this referendum: do the Catalans themselves stand for their independence, or is there someone else behind them, for example, some corridor of the US State Department, or the back streets of the CIA? This is not an idle question: European referendums cannot but be in sight of the United States; Washington didn’t allow such things before, let us recall at least US intervention in Italian affairs, when they changed governments there like gloves with the help of Masonic lodges.

Official Washington can say anything, as it supports the unity of Spain, and the real Washington can now stand behind the Catalan referendum. I remember when a financial collapse unexpectedly covered Greece, Washington was very supportive of a united Europe, and then it turned out that American banks were behind the Greek crisis. Then the agenda was the question of Greece’s withdrawal from the European Union ...

The Catalan referendum has already brought one serious result: the vaunted European values have been shattered: freedom of speech and the right to vote turned out to be bits with a baton, everything turned out to be fiction and piers for defusing Russia and other “authoritarian regimes”. “Democratic” authoritarianism revealed itself in Catalonia in all its glory. In the words of Donald Trump, the great and terrible pravdorub president, Europe turned out to be a fake democracy.

How easy and pleasant it is to defend “democratic values” in Russia, and how hard it is to defend them in Catalonia, in Europe! Farewell to the European Brussels liars!

High experts are now arguing: the Catalan referendum is a step towards the disintegration of Spain or Europe? If Madrid gets the wisdom to abolish the autonomy of Catalonia, anything is possible. The main question for Spain and Europe is: what is the real position in the Catalan issue “world democracy”, especially its deepest part. Europe can only rely on its own forces, - German Chancellor Merkel said not so long ago.

In Obama's time, Europe rejected the proposal of a “world democracy” on the transatlantic partnership, which seemed to be very frivolous. And received from her Catalan greetings? Nobel laureate in economics, and Advisor to President Trump Stiglitz has long been talking about the unviability of a united Europe ...

It’s hard to make forecasts now, until next week, the official declaration of independence.
But, as it seems to me, all this is mouse fuss, there will be no grandiose shocks in the EU. Official Madrid did a tremendous stupid thing by arranging the dispersal of the vote, so this is not a novelty for Europe, such dispersal every year for them several pieces happen for different reasons.
The protests will be quietly crushed before the next referendum, and that’s all. And the next referendum will be held like a Scottish one.

Catalonia is often compared with Ukraine, the richest province of Spain, and Spain is not limited to it, the Catalans live further, in France, in Perpignan. There is a suspicion that the Catalans' acute desire for independence was fueled by the British from the outside, because Spain began to demand a stew of the Gibralthan. It took a distraction to the "unfit object", which is called, namely the "independence" of Catalonia from Spain.

The USSR’s Red Empire released its richest Ukrainian province. Will the European Union empire have enough democracy to repeat the generosity and ... wisdom of the Red Empire?

The USSR was artificially collapsed as a result of the Bialowieza agreements, led by Yeltsin. In fact, treason, and not some kind of generosity, or wisdom there ... Catalonia puffs up not from the EU, but from Spain, the author mixed everything in a heap, as usual wassat

Our expert in the heat of indignation forgot about the enormous contribution of a certain Gorbachev with the restructuring in the collapse of the USSR, Yeltsin can be charged Crimea, by and large. The EU plays the role of the USSR for Spain and Catalonia, and the fate of the referendum depends on it, what the consequences will be, our sage is looking for literal analogies, they do not exist, they do not exist at all.

Spain did not recognize the independence of Kosovo. Such a position, at least, is respected, there are no double standards.

Yesterday, the First Deputy Chairman of the European Parliament confirmed the right of the Spanish government to use force against participants in a peaceful referendum in Catalonia.

But what about the condemnation by all EU bodies of the actions of the President of Ukraine Yanukovych against the armed participants of the coup in 2014?

Maybe the legitimately elected President Yanukovych should come back to Ukraine under this decision to get the full support of the country's citizens who did not recognize the coup and wrap the guts of the coup on the tank tracks?

But Russia, relying on the EU decision on Catalonia, to fully support the fraternal people of a neighboring country in this matter, isn’t it?

Andrey, let's not compare. Legally elected Yanukovych simply fled from Ukraine, besides his personal safety, he was of little interest. Discredited himself completely. And the civil war there began precisely because of his fear and indecision.
I’ll honestly say that I don’t know how it relates to the Catalan referendum. Everyone has arguments - someone talks about the right to self-determination, someone about the territorial integrity of the state and the principle of inviolability of borders. And a comparison with other events - with Kosovo, with the Crimea - is also inappropriate, completely different reasons. In Catalonia, all this has been going on for quite some time, but here are just slogans such as “We are self-sufficient,” “Stop feeding Spain,” etc. (exaggerate, of course) alarming. Many Soviet republics made the same speeches, and ended badly.
So there are a lot of questions.
But the fact is that the so-called Euro-democracy has done its job here in full: the author of the article is absolutely right.

And where does Yanukovych as such - it only needs to be used as a puppet to implement our plan in Ukraine in strict accordance with the EU opinion on the illegality of unconstitutional actions in European countries.

And Catalonia, as such, has nothing to do with it (for any outcome of the referendum) - for us it is just a legitimate excuse, under the guise of Yanukovych, to throw the anti-Russian regime in the neighboring country into asphalt.

We will deal with the collapsibility / inviolability of borders later on - it is quite possible that the EU will help us in this matter by its stupidity.

is indifferent, stock up on beer and crackers and watch the series "Well, there are the Spaniards." They were not our allies, so just look, and look at the mustache, how you can ruin the whole in order to prevent it from happening, because the direction is so monotonous.

Obviously, the interested external customer uses the Catalans blindly. Otherwise, it is impossible to explain the mass insanity of the people: to exchange the status of the "privileged region", laden with Madrid, for the dark future of the impoverished "independent republic" - this is the irresponsibility of the average Catalan in relation to himself. This is the Ukrainian version of the former richest republic of the USSR with its cries "stop feeding Muscovites." In the case of the separation of Catalonia, the result will be the same. Say what you like, but the mental weapon in combination with sent agents of influence (I mean the authorities of Catalonia) is the most formidable force of our day. Steeper than "calibers" and "tomahawks."
