How the United States set Japan on Russia

The Japanese attack on the Hawaiian Islands came as a shock to all of America. However, the struggle between the United States and Japan did not arise from scratch and could not be unexpected for the owners of the United States. The “Day of Shame” was a completely logical development and another link in the American-Japanese relations.

Back in 1918, V. Lenin noted that the clash of two great Pacific powers is inevitable: “The economic development of these countries over the course of several decades prepared the abyss of combustible material that makes inevitable a desperate clash of these powers for domination over the Pacific Ocean and its coast. All diplomatic and economic story The Far East makes it absolutely certain that on the basis of capitalism it is impossible to prevent the imminent and sharp conflict between America and Japan. ” Both Tokyo and Washington were to blame for the upcoming war: “... the war between Japan and America is already ready, it has been prepared for decades, it is not accidental; tactics do not depend on who shoots the first. This is ridiculous. You understand perfectly well that Japanese capitalism and American capital are equally robbery. ”

The Soviet leader was not mistaken in his conclusions. The predatory nature of capitalism and the Western model of development through constant expansion, seizure and plunder of foreign territories and resources, direct parasitism over other civilizations, countries and peoples constantly leads to new conflicts and wars. Only in a state of constant unrest, collapse and war, can predators and aliens receive their gesheft. This was true in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, and true in the twenty-first century. All world wars, regional and local conflicts are caused by the predatory, predatory nature of the capitalist (essentially neo-slave-owning) system and the western development project (at the expense of others). The current Fourth World War (the Third World War ended with the collapse of the Soviet civilization, the USSR and the socialist bloc of states) was also caused by the crisis of the capitalist system and Western civilization and the Western globalization project as a whole. Hence the desire of the masters of the West to cause conflicts and wars in the territories of other civilizations, countries and peoples that are not part of the core of their system. The collapse, war, death and chaos - this is their element, from which they are able to extract the maximum profits.

The United States "awakened" the Japanese civilization, which for a long time was in isolation. The Japanese elite, seeing that they could not resist the Western capitalist great powers, went down the path of Western modernization itself. But Japan was able to preserve its essence, its "I". Japan agreed to become a "ram" of the United States and Britain against China and Russia. Washington and London favored the aggression and expansion of Japan, directed to Asia, as long as it did not concern their sphere of influence and interests. Relying on the all-round support of England and the United States, the Japanese entrenched themselves in Korea and Manchuria, defeated the degraded Chinese dragon, and bravely attacked the Russian Empire. During the Russo-Japanese War 1904-1905. behind the backs of Japan, stood openly England and the United States, which sought to knock out Russia from the Far East, penetrate the Japanese possession on the Pacific coast following the Japanese, and turn the Russians into Western Europe, where the Balkan trap and the war of the Russians against the Germans and Austrians were being prepared. The political and diplomatic, economic, financial and military-technological support of Washington and London, as well as the secret, subversive war against Russia, which led to the 1905-1907 revolution, allowed Japan to take up over the vast Russian empire. True, the Japanese have received much less than expected.

Already during the First World War in London and Washington they saw that the Japanese were playing their own game. They not only seized German ownership of the Far East, declining to “honor” to participate in the European theater massacre as “cannon fodder”, but also taking advantage of the fact that Britain and the United States focused on events in Europe and began to press them in China. Japanese militarism, fed up against Russia and China, saw the enemy, not only in Russians and Chinese, but also in British and Americans. Japan intended to subjugate huge China, which would once and for all solve the problem of lack of resources in the relatively small island Empire of Japan and become the leading force in the Far East and the Pacific. And for this it was necessary to throw the British, Americans, French and Dutch out of Asia, and take their place. At the first stage, the Japanese were going to become monopolists in China, wiping out the traditional American policy of "open doors" and "equal opportunities" in the Middle Kingdom. The fact was that America, having become the first economy in the world, could easily afford such a policy, crowding its competitors with cheaper and high-quality industrial goods, with its economic and financial capabilities. The “open doors” and “equal opportunities” (as well as the modern WTO and other systems) in fact gave an advantage to the more economically developed States.

Therefore, after the First World War, the United States tightened its policy towards Japan. Under powerful American pressure at the nine-power Washington conference in the 1921-1922. the Japanese were forced to give up most of the mining, which was seized during the world war. The Japanese promised to respect the sovereignty, independence, territorial and administrative inviolability of China, to respect the principles of "open doors" and "equal opportunities" in this country. Also, the United States, along with other leading Western powers, took care of limiting the naval power of the Japanese Empire. At the conference, the treaty of the five powers (USA, England, Japan, France and Italy) was signed, which set the tonnage of their battleships in the proportion of 5: 5: 3: 1,75: 1,75. A number of other agreements on a reciprocal basis limited the strengthening of the island territories of the United States, Britain and Japan. It is clear that the agreements were in the interests of the United States and England, which had more powerful economic opportunities, had already created their own sphere of influence and colonial empires, and secured the occupied territories. Japan, which had just begun to create its Asian and Pacific empire, did not have a self-sufficient economy and a full-fledged resource base, showed a "red light". It is not surprising that the outcome of the Washington Conference provoked the fury of the Japanese militarists, they were robbed by other stronger predators, and even banned expansion and the development of the main striking force in the Pacific Ocean - the fleet. In Tokyo, the United States considered the main culprit for Japan’s retreat and humiliation.

The Japanese political system was quite original. The nominal head of the country was the emperor, personifying the thousand-year history of Yamato. He appointed the prime minister and cabinet members, disregarding parliament. He also controlled the army and navy through the chiefs of staff, who were directly subordinate to the throne. In reality, the replacement of senior government posts was made on the advice of the oldest politicians (genro), a kind of college of former heads of government. The military and naval ministers were responsible for supplying the armed forces, but strategic issues remained in the hands of the Army General Staff and the Main Naval Headquarters. The government usually had no idea about the affairs of the army and fleet. Moreover, the "siloviki" under the threat of resignation could cause the fall of the entire cabinet. The stability of the government was ensured by a constant conflict between the leadership of the army and the navy, continuously opposing each other in the interests of achieving "national harmony".

Behind the scenes of official political life were the real masters of the country - the clans of monopoly zaibatsu, who saw the need to conquer vast areas of the planet and exploit their wealth. In turn, financial and industrial capital fed on violent militarists, innumerable legal and secret organizations and parties. They swore loyalty to the throne, but they demanded war, regardless of the country's real capabilities. Soviet Union, China. The USA and England were all called the enemies of the Japanese race.

Military psychosis swept Japan from top to bottom. The retired general Kokhiro Sato in 1920-1930's was noted in the book "If Japan and America start a war." He said that America is poisoned by “golden poison”, hates Japan, obstructs its just aspirations. But the morale of the samurai will prevail "over the material values that have corrupted the United States." In fact, we can see a similar ideology in the modern “Caliphate”, where the rotted “Global Babylon”, the world of the “golden calf” fairly branded and believe in the victory of the Koranic civilization over the “crusaders”.

At the end of 20, Japan’s Prime Minister Giichi Tanaka on July 21 addressed the Emperor with an extensive program, where he demanded a policy of “iron and blood”. It said: “If we in the future want to seize control of China, we will have to crush the United States, that is, to do with them the way we did in the Russian-Japanese war. But in order to conquer China, we must first conquer Manchuria and Mongolia. In order to conquer the world, we must first conquer China. If we manage to conquer China, all the other Asian countries and countries of the South Seas will be afraid of us and capitulate to us. ” Tanaka saw the need for a new war with Russia: “The program of our national growth includes, apparently, the need to again cross our swords with Russia in the fields of Mongolia in order to master the riches of Northern Manchuria. Until this hidden reef is blown up, our ship will not be able to go fast forward. ”

The Japanese militarists were annoyed that the government, where they knew better the possibilities of Japan, was slow to "conquer the world." They were annoyed that Japan was late for the colonial division of the world. The Japanese learned the lessons of the West well. However, as soon as Japan began its seizures and its Great Game, the other powers, which had already received their sphere of influence and colonies, suddenly became “virtuous” and offered to stop the “game”. And the main culprits saw the United States, which interfered in the "natural" development of Japan.

The Japanese Empire soon continued its expansion. Fortunately, the Western, capitalist world has again entered a period of systemic crisis. The looted resources and the occupied territories after the First World War lasted only for a short time. USA - the leader of the western world, came to the limit of growth. To continue expansion and growth, it was necessary to organize a big war again. The main enemies of the Anglo-Saxons were again the Russians and the Germans, and they were skillfully set off again. Wherein Russians were now even more dangerous for the West than at the beginning of the century — they began to develop their globalization project, to build a world based on social justice, a society of service and creation. Therefore, the masters of the West hastily created the inferno world (the civilization of the "black sun") - the Third Reich, in order to throw all the forces of Western Europe against the solar civilization of the future - the Soviet Union (Great Russia). In order for the slaughter to take on a global scale, it would be necessary to draw the Japanese into the war. In this case, the Japanese were to become one of the main participants in the war, and not sit aside, as during the war 1914-1918. Therefore, London and Washington again began to turn a blind eye to the expansion of Japan, directed against China and the USSR. The USA needed a big war in the Pacific and a war of Russians against the Japanese. The advance of the Japanese in China inevitably, according to Washington, led to the future war of the Japanese Empire and the Soviet Union.

Interestingly, the now everything is somehow repeated. Again, the western project of globalization and the capitalist system caused a systemic crisis of humanity. Again, the epicenter of the crisis in the United States. Once again, the masters of the West, to emerge from the crisis by means of a big war and at the expense of others, bury Russia and China in the global turmoil, the Islamic world (where there is already a center of world war — the Middle Eastern front), finally crush the Old World, reformat Europe - Catalonia is only one of the "bells". Again, the US is arming Japan. They want to quit the Japanese against China and Russia. The West needs the resources, wealth and territory of Russia, because now the humankind is threatened by a biospheric, ecological crisis. The owners of the West need more virgin lands of the Russian Arctic, Siberia and the Far East, forests, rivers, lakes. All our wealth. Left to us by our ancestors, who have mastered and protected such a huge land with blood and blood. The whole world is the Russian world. Westerners need the resources of Russia to finally defeat the infernal, non-slave-owning new world order on the planet. Everything repeats on a new round of history, with some changes. As the Russian historian Vasily Osipovich Klyuchevsky noted: “History is not a teacher, but a guard: she does not teach anything, but severely punishes for not knowing the lessons.

In 1931, Japan seized Manchuria and left the League of Nations. West confined toothless protests. Nazi Germany and militarist Japan were nursed and treated according to a similar scheme. While their aggression and expansion went in the right direction, they were nurtured and supported. Germany became the western “cudgel” of the West, and Japan - the eastern. They were supposed to crush the Soviet civilization by a simultaneous blow.which carried the light of knowledge into the world, created a new society that could put an end to the domination of the parasitic western project.

The masters of the West exulted - they again succeeded in pitching the Russians against the Japanese. Japan entered a broad front on the border with the Soviet Union. The rapid expansion of the Kwantung Army in Manchuria with a tip directed northward indicated that Japan would again fight with Russia. During the occupation of Manchuria, there were only 11,5 thousand soldiers in the Kwantung Army, and in 1935, there were already 134 thousand soldiers. At the head of the Kwantung Army were the most notorious militarists, many were veterans of the Russian-Japanese war 1904-1905. and participated in the 1918-1922 intervention. against Russia, which did not lead to a decisive success. They looked with hungry eyes at the Russian Far East and other lands. Moscow had to quickly strengthen the borders in the Far East. An attempt was made to find a common language with the Japanese. In December, Moscow 1931 proposed that Tokyo sign a non-aggression pact. Tokyo thought for a year, then it was reported that time was still “not ripe”.

In Japan itself, official propaganda explained to the Japanese that the Empire of the rising sun was only defending itself. That "the holy mission of Japan is to establish peace in the East." The “new order” led by Japan in Asia should have led to the fact that Siberia, China, India and the South Seas region would become “Japanese provinces”. In 1937, Japan attacked China, which also suited the masters of the West. Weakened, dismembered and plundered China, like Russia, is the dream of the Westerners. Instead of an easy walk came a protracted war. The Japanese slaughtered the Chinese with hundreds of thousands, but got bogged down. There is a merit in this of Moscow, which supported both the government of Chiang Kai-shek and the Chinese Communists. The massacre in China has largely absorbed the energy of the Japanese militarists.

The USA arranged this war. In December 1937, the Japanese Maritime aviation sank on the Yangtze the American gunboat "Penai", which took on board the evacuated employees of the US Embassy in the Japanese-besieged Nanjing. American diplomats were taken aback by such impudence of the Japanese militarists and were beside themselves. The situation was compared with the sinking of the battleship "Maine" in Havana, which was the reason for the Spanish-American war. The US was expected to declare war on Japan. However, the US government accepted a Japanese apology and the case ended. Washington at that time held the position of “non-interference” in the war between Japan and China.

And Moscow at that time provided large-scale assistance to a neighbor in distress, although before that relations with China were very difficult, including the aggression of Chinese militarists and bandit formations. In August 1937, a non-aggression pact was signed between China and the USSR. Then Moscow opened loans to China for $ 250 million (at that time a very serious amount). Only from October to September 1938, China received from the USSR hundreds of aircraft and guns, dozens tanks, thousands of machine guns, a large number of ammunition, equipment, military materials. Since Japan blocked the Chinese coast, goods from the USSR were transported along the then “road of life” - the Xinjiang tract 3 thousand km from Alma-Ata via Xinjiang to Lanzhou. Urgent cargo was transported by air.

The future Marshal of the USSR and the hero of the defense of Stalingrad, V. I. Chuikov, was the chief military adviser to the Chinese leader, Chiang Kai-shek, and the USSR military attache in China. He noted that the Union had compensated for the heavy weapons and aircraft lost by the Chinese army. Moreover, the Russians fought for the Chinese. “In the first period of the war,” wrote Chuikov, “volunteer pilots from the USSR took the brunt of the Japanese air armada. More than 200 Soviet pilots gave their lives for the freedom and national independence of the Chinese people. ”

At the same time, Moscow strengthened the line of defense in the Far East. 1 July 1938, the Soviet troops in the Far East were transformed into the Far Eastern Red Banner Front. The situation in the Soviet Far East was extremely difficult, it was going to war. The Japanese military launched a series of provocations against the USSR. Since 1936, at the border of the Soviet Union, 231 violation has been noted, of which 35 are major clashes with weapons. Predatory fishing in Soviet territorial waters in 1938 took an unprecedented scale. Hundreds of Japanese ships hunted in Soviet waters under the protection of destroyers, reconnaissance ships and submarines. In August, 1938, the Japanese militarists tried the Soviet border on the fortress - at Lake Hassan, putting forward claims to Soviet lands. However, the Red Army defeated the Japanese robbers. The Japanese are quiet for a while.

Are you interested in anything else in the article? It looks like narcology issues are more interesting for you than the topic of the article itself. I myself consider this article the most successful in this series about such a key moment in world history, a lot of information and an analysis of the international situation at that time is especially good. The article is a clear plus (+)!

« Newspaper chatter that our prevailing moral position puts us in a position where we can dictate our will to the world, simply nonsense ... If not for our domestic policy, we could unite with England, whose interests are identical with ours, but in the current mood it's out of the question". John Haye US Secretary of State 1898-1905

An analysis of the international situation before the Russo-Japanese War with respect to the United States can hardly be called good.

Listen - I’m poorly versed in the clinical diagnoses of psychiatry, so it’s better for the author to go to a specialist
The copyrights of the leaders of the truth of the times of the Cold War, and the articles with quotes from the multi-volume book - The History of the Great Patriotic War of the Soviet Union 1941-1945 - are not impressive.
And when something of its own is bent - there are simply fears for the clouded consciousness of the author - everything mixed up, that it’s just scary to unravel the tangle of this schizophrenic delirium - it’s taken from different eras and glued together by violent anti-Americanism.
Write the author of the editorial to the Truth in the 70s, he would be pulled - we just need the enemy’s rejection, and not war tomorrow.

He always hits at one point. Whatever happens on the planet is the insidious aggression of the USA and England against Russia. There are already about two dozen such articles. And there will be as many more.
      For example:
“How the United States set pastoralists in Mongolia on Russia.” (This is about Genghis Khan)
"How the US set Norwegian sailors against Russia" (this is about the Vikings)
At first I was annoyed, but now I even like it. Like a special fantasy ...
Recently I read on the forum in the masterpiece that the Red Army is called red because of the Rothschild (Red Shield). This is the agent of Rothschild Trotsky made a gift to his master.

And after all that is remarkable - really set off. Speaking of the Vikings: a familiar Murmansk Pomor told me that for many centuries, Pomors and Norwegians constantly exchanged brides, then some will come to visit, others will all “steal” the brides from each other. It turns out interesting: peoples are called differently, but in fact they have been direct relatives for many centuries. It’s interesting who all the same set off on each other in all senses of direct relatives, for some reason calling them different nations. I would like to learn more about this amazing propaganda kitchen.

Here it would be necessary in more detail:
By October 21, 1937, 447 people were trained for shipment to China, including ground technical personnel, aerodrome service specialists, engineers, and aircraft assembly workers. Two squadrons — SB bombers and I-16 fighters — were transferred across the “air bridge” from Alma-Ata to Lanzhou in October.
In November 1937, a second group of SB bombers was sent to China under the command of Captain F.P. Polynin, with this group about 150 volunteers arrived.
At the end of 1937 - the beginning of 1938, three groups sent a squadron of I-15 fighters under the command of A. S. Blagoveshchensky to China.
in July 1938 - a squadron of SB bombers of 66 people, led by Colonel G.I. Thor.
As a result, by mid-February 1939, 712 volunteers — pilots and aircraft technicians — arrived in China for different periods of time.
More than half of Soviet volunteer pilots died outside the fighting - during air crashes on the Alma-Ata-Lanzhou highway (malfunctions of equipment and bad weather conditions).
Since the signing of the Neutrality Pact between the USSR and Japan (the Soviet-Japanese agreement on mutual neutrality, signed in Moscow on April 13, 1941), supplies from the USSR to China have ceased.

In Wuhan, a monument was erected to volunteer pilots, 29 people were buried.

In just three years from 1937 to 1940, 1285 aircraft were sent from the USSR to China, and many ground equipment
Of 3665 Soviet volunteers, pilots, and technicians, 214 remained forever in China in dozens of mass graves.

US politicians would never be a single monolith. This can be judged even by today's problems of trump. Yes, the United States declared war on the Nazi Reich, but the Standard Oil Rockefeller company continued to supply Luftwaffe high-octane gas for bombing in both London and Stalingrad. Japan is another matter. By the end of the 19th century, during the wars in China, this country also worked for the interests of both England and the United States. The Americans armed both Hitler and Japan, but they never had 100% control over these countries, and after the Japanese moved their military priorities from north to south to the US zone of interest, then Pearl Harbor was needed, and all the “carrots for the Japanese” So we can safely say that the United States did not permanently help and arm the Japanese, but clearly periodically, based on its own selfish interests. and again and again arming Japan, based on momentary own interests. So linguistics is very much more than that, and the author here is not at all mistaken in anything.

in this regard, the United States is very reminiscent of the Roman Empire with its corrupt senators. in the usa it's a lobby. many TNCs, diasporas and countries through these lobby structures push the decisions they need. naturally, this money goes to the congress and senate of the usa.
recently read root. I don’t agree with everything, a lot of things are attracting ears, but there are still analogies. in this case, in the case of a common schukher, both the elites of Rome and the United States could rally today.

In general, again the Anglo-Saxons are to blame. The author, as it were, lost sight of the fact that we still fought with Japan. And the United States helped us hard .. by the way, like China. The author is lying a little about the policy of non-interference. Of course, at first the US supplies were significantly less than the Soviet ones, but the US government was somewhat less able to spend budget money on a call than Stalin. The author would not have the price if he had not turned his articles into an ideological mess.

Strange you write here. When it was fought, at Halkin-Gol, but not significant Amur clashes. Actually, thanks to Japan’s pre-war position and a peace treaty with it, Siberian divisions arrived in Moscow in the 41st, which saved the capital. We “fought” with Japan in such a way that American super-fortresses B-17 and even B-29, landed by the Japanese, landing on the airfields of the USSR, were arrested together with aircraft crews by agreement with the Japanese, by the way we managed to copy the B-29. Maybe you completely forgot about it? Everything is much more complicated, and it is precisely about this that the author writes, trying to bring to the attention of readers of VO the general political balance of power of those days. Here you can’t do without macro politics, which few people understand by the way, hence yours: "The author would not have been if he had not turned his articles into an ideological mess“- Obviously your not enough understanding of the geopolitical processes of those days. Yes, I’m watching and today’s geopolitical processes, few are fully aware of this, hence the criticism of the author that is clearly not fair on all sides, in other words, is not the case.

Yes, even if the time of hostilities would be counted, how much time the Americans fought and how much we are. Without our participation, the World War would have dragged on for another two years, and the effectiveness of the military operations of our troops is an order of magnitude higher, but in time, in time, the Americans waged a war much longer. Or you don’t take it into account at all. You have to be careful, otherwise it’s some kind of surprisingly selective memory, I swear.

From the point of view of ideology, the articles are very consistent. But the stories they diametrically contradict.

Apparently, as Zhvanetsky said in the "conservatory" something is wrong. It seems that things are even worse with the “history”, as if something needs to be done here, it's time.

It’s time to wake up from a lethargic sleep. By the way, in these very 30s, the country showed the most outstanding indicators in the history of mankind. But you probably don’t need it at all: it’s delicious to eat, sleep sweetly - your pinnacle of dreams

Indicators of what the country showed. Yes, in the entire history of mankind. Millions of starvation losses in a normal crop. Or what else. Can the mass use of labor of prisoners at construction sites. But here, among other dictatorships in the entire history of humanity, the USSR was not original.

Calculate which country had higher hunger losses in the early 30s: from the USSR, which sent grain to the USA and other countries to boost industry, or from the USA, which also received this grain from their USSR. By the way, as for the work of prisoners: you personally like the prisoners to work for a private entrepreneur to increase his super-income, as they do primarily in the United States and other countries, or to increase the defense capability and economic development of their country, the USSR. In general, there have always been more prisoners in the USA than in the USSR, compare if there is an opportunity. You have an amazing selectivity, always a desire to cheat on our country, and you see everything better with your neighbor. Is this a form of mental disorder? Who could explain: how you got to such a life, to such selectivity. Try to think about it, maybe that will become clear to you.

That is why fools who like to surf the Internet so much like to label. Yes, there was no famine and death in the United States. This is fake and stupid. Moreover, of Russian origin. One said the rest is repeated without looking at the source. And in construction sites as massively as we did in the 20th century, no one in Europe even used Hitler. These are the facts. And I love our country much more than you do and I do not want to repeat the muck that the Bolsheviks arranged in it, which you justify by all means. I want my country to be big-headed and self-sufficient so that it does not interfere in the affairs of its neighbors and that no one is afraid or hate it.

In general, it’s more accurate to say that there was no famine in Ukraine, all this was hit by the Americans, since those high-quality photographs that were presented as evidence of the famine in Ukraine were actually taken in the central states of the United States, about which the conclusions of experts were repeatedly published. Maybe you didn’t know anything from this either? American experts indicate the total loss from starvation deaths in the 30s in the United States at 12 million people. But it seems to you that the opinion of the Americans is not a decree, but you are climbing with great pleasure for all kinds of garbage dumps and foolish Internet sites. This topic has been raised at VO more than once, in other places the topic has been analyzed even more in detail. And in the 30s, the USSR gave the highest rise in the economy and population growth, not like now. You all nonsense pros brain .. more important than real research on this issue. So it looks like you haven’t gotten to the wrong site, your obvious bullshit here clearly will not work.

in fact, everyone felt the smoke of war. were the main forces: the USA, the USSR, Germany, England, France, Japan and Italy.
the USSR tried to sit aside at the initial stage of a general mess (the very correct policy of Stalin) was not received.
China supported Japan against the Japanese getting stuck there. tried to keep Germany at distant approaches - Czechoslovakia, Spain. Did not work out. England and France were unsupported.

By the way, back in 1939, the British and French seriously planned to attack the USSR, as in the Crimean War. here it seems no longer antagonistic ideologies, but more balancing of the amplified ones.

the Germans did not expect such agility that they would fill up the French so quickly. they wanted to balance the USSR. Yes, Hitler had his plans.
By the way, the United States financed Germany and strengthened until World War II, together with the British in order to balance Russia. the French did not want this, but could not do anything, remained guided.

and in the Russian-Japanese war, it was the United States that funded Japan against Russia. disguised as some Jewish banker. but they strengthened Japan not so much against Russia, but against England.

One fact does not fit into this theory: in the 1990s, the United States seemed to be able to bring the USSR to its knees. Why after the collapse of the USSR did the Americans not attack the plunder of Russia? Why did they let her rise and get stronger? Are there blind men at the helm?

And Moscow at that time provided large-scale assistance to a neighbor in distress, although before that relations with China were very difficult, including the aggression of Chinese militarists and bandit formations. In August 1937, a non-aggression pact was signed between China and the USSR. Then Moscow opened loans to China for $ 250 million (at that time a very serious amount). Only from October to September 1938, China received from the USSR hundreds of aircraft and guns, dozens of tanks, thousands of machine guns, a large number of ammunition, equipment, and military materials.

Do not forget that "in the meantime," Great Britain and the United States supplied weapons, fuel, and 10 tons of materials each month along the Sino-Vietnamese Railway, before the Japanese invasion of Indochina in 000.

Also, China imported goods along the Burmese road.
1154 km long road runs through the mountains. The section from Kunming to the border with Myanmar was built by Chinese workers during the Sino-Japanese War from 1937 to 1939, after the occupation of the coast of China by Japan. For three years the road was a vital route from China to the outside world, in total 650 thousand tons of military cargo were transported along it. Cargo was delivered by sea to Rangoon (now Yangon), then by train to Lasho.
On July 18, 1940, Great Britain ceased operation of the road at the request of Japan [2].

In April 1942, Japan captured Burma, forcing the Allies to transport goods by air through the eastern spurs of the Himalayas and under the command of Joseph Stillwell to build the Ledo road from the Indian city of Assam to the Burmese road. During the transportation of goods and air battles over the Burmese road, allied forces lost more than 600 aircraft and 1000 people.

So not a single USSR supported China.
