Military situation in Syria: ISIS attack against pro-American forces in Racca

On September 27, the supreme commander of the US-backed VTS, Rozh Felat, said in a video message that the VTS were attacked by a group on the 100 of ISIL terrorists dressed as VTS fighters. The incident allegedly occurred on September 26, while ISIL militants came from some government-controlled territory near the city of Deir ez-Zor. Felat added that this is a sign that the attack was carried out with the support of the Syrian government. As a result of the fighting against ISIS, 28 of the VTS fighters allegedly died.
