The survey was conducted on September 23-24 in 104 settlements and 53 regions of the Russian Federation among 1,5 thousands of respondents.
The survey data shows that Russians’s confidence in the ability of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to ensure the country's security has grown and is 88%, which is 14% more compared to the 24 August survey of 2014, when the figures showed 74% of Russians and 39% compared to by a survey from 7 on April 2013, then only 49% of respondents expressed similar confidence.

According to the study, there is also an increase in the positive assessments of the combat power of the Russian army, according to 75% of Russians, the army’s combat capability is increasing, whereas, according to an 24 survey of April 2014, 64% of respondents thought so, and in the 7 survey of April 2013, only 38 % of Russians expressed a similar opinion.
At the same time, according to the study, more than half of Russians (56%) believe that the state of affairs in the army is excellent and good, 24% is satisfied with the state of affairs, 15% - found it difficult to answer and only 5% of respondents called the situation bad.
