The newest sniper rifle "Accuracy" has been adopted by the FSB, the FSO and the Rosguard, deliveries begin this year, Dmitry Semizorov, general director of TsNIIochtomash, told reporters on Wednesday.

This year the newest Tochnost sniper rifle has been put into service by the FSB, the FSO and the Rosguards. Now the issue of serial delivery is being resolved.
- he said, answering the question RIA News.

Precision sniper rifle adopted by the FSB, FSO and the Russian Guard

The rifle is available in two versions: for calibers 8,6x69 and 7,62x52 millimeters, the general director noted.

The readiness of Accuracy for serial shipments was reported back in November 2016. Then, TsNIItochmash stated that the rifles had successfully passed state tests, and a small first batch would go into military service at the FSO.

Experts doubted that “Accuracy” is ready for serial production, since it allegedly used foreign components. These assumptions were refuted by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, who oversees the military-industrial complex.

"Accuracy" was presented at the Army-2015 forum. The development of the rifle was carried out at the rate of hitting targets at a distance of up to 1,5 kilometer.

If on the first ammunition 8,6x69 -.338 Lapua Magnum I have no questions since the ammunition is really very good for firing at a distance of more than 1 kilometer, then on the second, most likely a typo or we invented / adopted it without any extra noise and dust new sniper 7,62x52 rather than 7,62x54 ammunition ???

        Used NATO 7,62 * 51.

I know one thing, a FSB sniper in Chechnya, for a bet, from SVD - a goose was knocked down at a distance of 2 km. From svd. The bullet flew for a little three seconds. From the first shot. Bo game does not give a second time an attempt to shoot.

You forgot to say that he hit this goose on the fly. You hit your neck and scolded yourself as you aimed at the eye.

ORSIS wrote about the T5000 that they were doing it at an enterprise owned by Rogozin. If so, then they should not ruin ..

At the Zvezda channel (a channel about the army broadcasting amateurishly!) On the preview of the photo in the article on the adoption of the rifle into service, instead of the sniper rifle "Accuracy", is depicted SVDM.

Everything, as usual: the best and most advanced cops and the like, because only the peace and prosperity of our country depends on them. And the army will manage the fifty-year-old SVD.

The army needs a mass rifle with a range of not more than 500 meters, the conscript must quickly master it, and better than SVD, no one has invented anything for this. Special Forces is a different level and they work with different weapons.

As usual: this is when the Army is the best, and the police cast-offs such as stubborn AKs and ancient bronics.

And the army will manage the fifty-year-old SVD.

They have been working on a replacement for a long time ... SV-98, SVL (Lobaeva) ... but most likely they will adopt the carbine of the Kalashnikov-SK-16 concern

For a promising carbine, a rather unconventional principle of the operation of automation was chosen - the removal of part of the powder gases through the muzzle device, which, according to the authors, allows to eliminate parasitic vibrations of the barrel that occur during the operation of a conventional side gas engine. True, such an automation scheme complicates the design of the weapon and reduces its reliability: at one time, the designers of the famous German companies Carl Walther and Mauser failed with their own models of self-loading rifles G41 (W) and G41 (M), respectively, built on this principle. Perhaps that is why the prototype shown to Chemezov has a classic gas engine with the removal of powder gases into the chamber, fixed about 150 mm from the muzzle.
The developers paid special attention to reducing the recoil momentum. For this purpose, the SK-16 used a “gun monitor” scheme with a firing unit rollback (barrel + receiver), which stretches the recoil momentum in time and makes shooting from a weapon more comfortable. A similar scheme has already been tested in the German assault rifle G11 and the Izhevsk assault rifle AN-94 "Abakan" designed by Gennady Nikonov, proving its viability. Moreover, to mitigate the shock of moving parts, the developers provided it with a hydraulic shock absorber.
That is, in essence, the SK-16 repeats in miniature the design of an artillery gun equipped with a retractable barrel and hydraulic recoil devices.

Under .338LM? This cartridge bothers me, - it’s too old already. And generally speaking! I am a supporter of complexes: cartridge + weapons. If you move away from dogma, - the weapon follows the cartridge, then you can do a lot of interesting things. Example? SP-6.
