Schröder: not one of Putin’s followers will give up the Crimea

46
Crimea will never cease to be part of the Russian Federation, reports RIA News Statement by the former German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder.

I foresee that not a single Russian president will withdraw Crimea from the country,
Schröder told Stern magazine.

According to him, “insisting on something else, Berlin risks breaking ties with Moscow and sowing discord among nations linked by common history».

The politician recalled the "new eastern policy" of German Chancellor Willy Brandt, who at one time "helped Bonn establish a dialogue with the countries of people's democracy."

This policy, I'm sure Schröder, should be an example for the current German authorities. He also called for "not to be guided by US interests in the matter of Russian-German relations."

States do not need a strong Russia. Europe, first of all Germany, has other interests,
he declared.

The ex-chancellor also criticized the deployment of 450 German troops in Lithuania, near the Russian border. He noted that “this is a completely false signal”, which negatively affects the dialogue between the two states.

They will not be able to give anything for a simple reason. The Constitution of the Russian Federation states that the Republic of Crimea and the city of federal importance Sevastopol are subjects of the Russian Federation. To change the Constitution, it is necessary for a constitutional majority to vote for it - two thirds of the parliament. Plus, the constitutional Court must confirm the validity of the constitutional amendment. Even if they pressed on the GDP and he would want to return everything backwards - he does not have such powers. request Therefore, all the talk about someone suddenly returning the Crimea to Ukraine is cheap speculation.

What kind of constitution is Sukhoy_t-50 talking about? The constitution says that we have free education and health care. And what? We do not have a Constitution with which the Kremlin Chubais wipe their feet.

I agree. Only here the “productive” relations were at a time when Russia was weak, and our politicians looked into the mouths of Western politicians. That’s all the “productivity” .. By the way, Schroeder calculated everything and got his share in the gas business. So how does he it is impossible to say the opposite.

Even if the whole of Russia refuses Crimean citizens, then NATO will not drive us all back to Ukraine. We will become the next Transnistria, but these are all so unlikely scenarios that it’s not even worth considering. While all of Russia is for us, we are mountainous for it, and even when Russia was not with us, we were all the same with it.

It's a shame that here in Russia people decide for the people who had nothing to do with the creation of the state of Russia.
It was not in history that any state voluntarily transferred its territory with the people of its nationality to another state. But in Russia this happened. When eight regions and the Crimea are transferred to Hochland with the Russian population. How can you then treat the leaders of Russia? ? In my opinion, only enemies do this.

But what about the Brest peace?
In its final version, the agreement consisted of 14 articles, various annexes, 2 final protocols and 4 additional agreements (between Russia and each of the countries of the Fourth Union), according to which Russia was obliged to make many territorial concessions, also demobilizing its army and navy.

The Privislin provinces, Ukraine, the provinces with the predominant Belarusian population, the Estland, Courland and Livonia provinces, and the Grand Duchy of Finland were torn away from Russia. Most of these territories were to become German protectorates or become part of Germany.
In the Caucasus, Russia was inferior to the Kars region and the Batumi region.

And this was not the leadership of Russia. The RSFSR did not even have its own capital (Moscow was the capital of the USSR, i.e., in fact, a “no man’s” city), not to mention its own Communist Party, and even more so, about the permanent representative to the UN.
Of the 7 leaders, 1 was an ethnic Georgian, 3-in fact Ukrainians. In sum, these people ruled 58 + 1 years from 74. What kind of "re-created from the ashes of Russia? to the fact that in the end the entire Soviet elite consisted of separatists
