The military situation in Syria
Province of Damascus:
The Failak Ar-Rahman and Tahrir al-Sham groups reached an agreement on a temporary cease-fire in the settlement of Kafr Batna. In the Ain Tarma region, there was a fierce confrontation between Failak ar-Rahman and government forces that sought to advance under the cover of heavy artillery. SAA conducted rocket attacks on the Tahrir al-Sham positions in the Jobar area. Offensive with tanks T-72 failed. The opposition carried out mortar shelling of Al-Abbasin and Al-Zablatani districts in the province.
Aleppo Province:
Mortar shelling by militants led to the detonation of ammunition in the CAA warehouse located in the north of the province. There are clashes between the CAA and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the north. The front of the battles shifted from the settlement of Khazvan to the areas of Abla and Xoran, Darat Izza and Tal Zhizhan.
Province of Homes:
In the east, the joint operation of the Russian Aerospace Forces and the CAA against ISIS (* terrorist organization banned in Russia) continues. Under the cover of Russian aircraft, the Tin al-Muallak and Al-Nabatiyah areas were cleared. There was shelling of positions of fighters near the village of Tallat Hades. The fortifications in the area of Al-Khamsin Hill and around the settlements of Abu Kres and Mzen Al-Bakar suffered significant damage from the VKS fire.
Deir Ez-Zor Province:
The CAA, under the leadership of Russian advisers and with the support of the Russian Aerospace Force, crossed the Euphrates, on the left bank of which the terrorists built a powerful network of fortifications. Strengthening positions on the bridgehead and advancing inland to the north of Deir ez-Zor is under way. This area has a number of large oil fields.
Work continues to secure the perimeter of the liberated Deir ez-Zor military airport. Here a cargo plane landed for the first time in three years. The CAA is trying to establish control over the Havijat Sakr quarter in the administrative center of the province of Deir ez-Zor.
Idlib Province:
Abu Yasser al-Shami, commander of the Tahrir ash-Sham coalition, was shot dead by unknown. On the border are concentrated at least 80 units of military equipment of Turkey and 3000 well-trained pro-Turkish militants of the "free army", ready for invasion. The Turkish Armed Forces are opposed by the Tahrir ash-Sham coalition, controlled by Dzhebhat an-Nusroy *.
The CAA is fighting in the Al-Taman settlement in the south of Idlib.
Rakka Province:
Fierce fighting between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and ISIL * continued in the city of Rakka, including in the central part of the settlement, in the vicinity of the An-Naim junction and Ar Rashid, Al-Murur and Al-Haramiah areas.
The pro-American coalition's air force launched a series of attacks on the alleged positions of ISIL in the residential areas of Raqqa, including using white-phosphorus shells.
Province of Hama:
In the east, stripping of ISIS * of the “Akerbat boiler” is carried out by joint forces of the CAA and the videoconferencing of Russia. Control was established over the settlements of Abu Hanai and Al-Maddam.
