Multipurpose mechanized complex operational deployment of temporary roads, abbreviated KVD.



Designed for the passage of wheeled and tracked vehicles on difficult and swampy terrain, as well as on the approaches to the crossings and bridges.

The complex consists of two sets placed on the chassis KAMAZ-63501. When deployed, each set of layers (and then assembles back for further transportation) 50 meters of the roadway. Thus, the entire complex is able to create 100 meters of road with a width of 4,6 meters.



The laying time of one set of cloth is 5 minutes.

The canvas can be laid both on the prepared areas of the marshy terrain (gauge), and on soils susceptible to hydration.

The complex provides the patency of wheeled vehicles with axle loads up to 12 tons and tracked vehicles weighing up to 60 tons.



Testing of the complex KVD was carried out in different climatic zones of Russia and on different soils. State tests are fully completed, at present the complex is being supplied to the armament of the engineering units of the Russian army.

The efficiency of the KVD complex is estimated to be very high, as the KVD is able to ensure the progress of practically any equipment on any marshy ground, from sand to clay and chernozem. It is very useful when forcing water reservoirs technology.



All work on the laying and assembly of the roadway is fully mechanized.
