Deputy Emergencies Minister Vladlen Aksyonov held talks with Iranian Interior Ministry adviser Hamidreza Fazlali and Mojtabah Bashtani, director of the international business and trade department, RIA News.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of joint emergency response.

I would like to note that we are ready for cooperation, including on issues of humanitarian assistance and support in emergency response,
said Aksenov.

In turn, Fazlali noted that "there are many areas for cooperation between our departments, and we are interested in their development."

According to the press service of the Emergencies Ministry, the Iranians also "expressed interest in training rescuers in Russia, in particular, at the National Airmobile Rescue Training Center in Novokuznetsk and expressed a desire to personally visit him."

In addition, the Iranian side expressed a desire to take part in the annual international salon "Integrated Safety-2018", which is held in Moscow under the auspices of the Emergencies Ministry.

The Russian side supported the initiative of foreign guests.
