Polish-Ukrainian daisy presented at MSPO-2017

At the MSPO-2017 defense industry exhibition in Kielce, Poland, the WB Group, in cooperation with the Ukrainian corporation Ukroboronprom, presented the ZRN-01 “Stokrotka” rocket system.

The new rocket system uses 80 mm caliber air missiles, reports the National Industrial Portal of Ukraine.

ZRN-01 is a highly mobile 265 × 2 STAR 6M6 truck chassis, which is the base for a rotary installation armed with two aviation B8W20 launchers.

According to the declared characteristics, using the Topaz fire control system installed on a vehicle with a radar and GS400 optoelectronic head, the “Stokrotka” can accurately hit targets on the ground at a distance of 6 km.

It is noteworthy that thanks to the programmable head, the system can deal not only with the accumulation of infantry, artillery, or lightly armored vehicles, but also drones and helicopters flying at low altitude within a radius of 4 km.

The entire system, despite its obvious simplicity, offers excellent mobility and firepower at a very affordable price. Launcher and fire control system can be easily installed on other platforms, including armored vehicles, transmits Inosmi.ru.
