Tankman Day in Russia
September 10, 2017 celebrate their professional holiday tank troops and tank builders. Tanker Day is celebrated annually on the second Sunday of September. In memory of the heroism of the Soviet tankers in the liberated cities are monuments tank, which is one of the victorious symbols of the Great Patriotic War. That legendary "34-ka" broke through in Berlin first during the offensive operation.
For courage and heroism shown in the fight against the Nazi invaders, the 1142 tanker soldier received the title Hero of the Soviet Union. 16 of them were awarded this title twice. Tank T-14 "Armata" is a fundamentally new and completely Russian development. The use of a special coating makes the car almost invisible in the thermal and radar spectra of observation. Armat "Armata" is able to withstand the hit of any existing anti-tank weapons, at least, the manufacturer insists on such an assessment.
This is the first Russian tank, which creates a digital information management system - “digital board”. It starts up, controls, diagnoses and adjusts the parameters of the mechanisms. Makes the tank itself a unit of network-centric operation with the possibility of adjusting the actions of the crew from the command post, even in combat conditions.
T-14 "Armata" can use high-explosive fragmentation, armor-piercing and cumulative projectiles, guided missiles with electronic, satellite and infrared guidance.
The T-14 is more than just a tank in the usual sense of the word. This is a shock universal machine that combines the missile system, anti-aircraft anti-aircraft system, reconnaissance complex and, in fact, the tank itself.
We hope that after carrying out all the necessary tests, a sufficient number of such machines will go to the troops - with the elimination of previously identified defects. The entire test complex of the latest Russian tank should be completed by 2020 year.
