The Aerob A2V aircraft-type UAV was first presented in the framework of the 2015 International Aviation and Space Salon in the exposition of the Russian Emergencies Ministry. Aerob A2V has a body in the form of a pipe, inside which is located on a sliding platform an electric motor with batteries, as well as a payload.
The unmanned aerial vehicle has a kilogram 6,5 take-off mass at speeds up to 120 kilometers per hour. In addition, the Aerob A2V UAV is capable of operating at an altitude of 50-150 meters and operating at a distance of 50 kilometers for three hours. UAV Aerob A2V can fly automatically on a particular route, as well as return to a given point.
The main tasks of the Aerob A2V UAV are remote sensing of the earth, monitoring of objects of the fuel and energy complex, collection and processing of flight information. In addition, the drone can determine the coordinates of ground objects by targeting the operator and receive and transmit images of the terrain to the ground control station.
