The action "Service under the contract - your choice!" In Rostov-on-Don. Air battle

1
September 3 Rostov-on-Don again took the action of the Ministry of Defense "Contract Service - Your Choice!" The culmination of this holiday was an extensive flight program, in which there was a place for an air parade, and piloting on airplanes and helicopters, and even demonstration battles. Several pilots of one of the formations of the Southern Military District showed the public how a maneuverable air battle with a conditional enemy might look.

Immediately after the passage of the building of helicopters carrying the flags of the country, the region and the armed forces, two pairs of Su-27 fighters appeared in the sky above the River Don. One of them became a conditional adversary who violated the country's airspace. The second, in accordance with the legend of the demonstrations, was raised to intercept and had to deal with the violators. Using the same type of aircraft, fighter pilots were able to demonstrate all their skills and skills in the field of pilotage.

The conditional enemy entered the protected zone and was immediately detected by interceptors. "Our" planes quickly managed to get on the tail of violators and took the most convenient position to attack. Caught in such a risky situation, the "enemy" Su-27 tried to get rid of the pursuit. They carried out various maneuvers, but the interceptors confidently continued to hold an advantageous position.

Numerous attempts to escape from the fighters protecting the airspace were meaningless. "Our" interceptors for a considerable time were in a favorable position, providing a successful attack of a conditional enemy and protection against retaliatory actions. The fighters did not use missile or cannon weapons, but even without this the "enemy" understood the complexity of the situation.

After a long maneuvering and unsuccessful attempts to get rid of the pursuers, the fighters of the conditional enemy were forced to abandon the continuation of their combat mission. The "enemy" couple collapsed, and both planes left the battlefield, scattering in different directions. The second pair successfully coped with the protection of the airspace, and soon went to the base.

Having dealt with the conditional enemy, the pilots on the Su-27 defended the river area and the celebration continued. Soon, modern models appeared in front of the audience aviation technicians. However, this part of the parade did not last too long. Soon, new units had to enter the demonstration battle.
