A lot of emotion has been spilled on the screens of readers. But if you talk impartially, the picture is as follows: the fair symbol of the annexation of Sevastopol to Russia stood up for the unique local nature, and the military retreated.
But time is the best judge, putting everyone in their places. Half a year has passed, and the dumb question “Why did Chalomu Gasfort?” Received an unexpected (or logical) answer.
Oleg Nikolaev, head of the Sevastopol Development Corporation, a member of the ONF, said the following:
“The project of a sports park is being developed at the Ministry of Sports and will soon be presented to Sevastopol residents. To make it clear to all: Oleg Nikolaev - an ally of A. Chaly. Nikolaev stuck it out during the election race for the mandate of the State Duma deputy in 2016.
Oleg Nikolaev, answering his rhetorical question “What else can we do for Sevastopol?”, Says:
“As for the development of land at Mount Gasfort, I think that Minsport will help us to preserve this territory by creating a sports park without detriment to nature. There is no other alternative, they are considering this particular place, near Mount Gasfort.».
It turns out that the issue with the water supply of Sevastopol is resolved? But after all, almost no one has worked on them for the past six months. It was not before that - everyone was captured by the election of the governor and the reception of V. Putin in August. But what about the Red Juniper?
Nikolaev, in turn, seemed to confess, exhaling, that «Agency for strategic development of Sevastopol in 2014 year offered to place an amusement park near the Gasfort mountain. We even have a project on this topic. I.e it is not entirely new story. It's time to negotiate. We need to be able to talk with each other. If the project is done well, then it should be».
Here you have a grand piano in the juniper bushes - the project was already in 2014. And it becomes clear that at the public hearings Chaly and the team fought not for the preservation of fauna, but against the project of the Ministry of Defense.
The military then, proudly looking up, said that the Ministry of Defense would not allow "to drag itself into squabbles" around the construction of the Patriot park in Sevastopol. But these are military men whose honor is still not an empty sound.
