For the first time, units of the Tula unit of the Airborne Forces passed along the Northern Sea Route and landed on the coast of the Yenisei River to participate in an inter-specific exercises in the center of the Arctic zone of Russia,
said in a release department.

It is reported that "at present, the arrived airborne troops of Russia, together with naval sailors and units of the Arctic brigade, are carrying out comprehensive support and cooperation activities."

In the coming days, paratroopers during a joint exercise will have to work out special actions for the defense of important objects in the southern part of the Taimyr Peninsula.

Maneuvers involving units of the Tula airborne unit will continue until August 25.
