China's cyber capabilities began to threaten the US military

9’s March report, prepared by Northrop Grumman for the US Congress, marks China’s achievement of a level of cyber capabilities that would pose a threat to the US military in the event of a military conflict. This report emphasizes that the PLA (People’s Liberation Army of China) relies precisely on the “information confrontation”.
The report says that the PLA command believes that the successful conduct of hostilities depends largely on exercising control over the information systems of a possible enemy. With respect to Taiwan, the People’s Liberation Army of China will focus on the preventive use of its cyber capabilities in order to prevent the intervention of the United States of America or to worsen their military capabilities.
The report says that the PLA will have access to the latest technologies in the military sphere, which will be provided by Chinese companies, some of which with foreign participation. The People’s Liberation Army of China, along with these companies, are able to track the supply chain of electronic equipment for the US military, government, and civilian industries. As a consequence of this process, there is a “catastrophic destruction” of systems and networks that are extremely important for the infrastructure of the United States.
In connection with this, a commission of the US Congress has been created, which is to prepare a report on national security, which may adversely affect trade and economic relations between the USA and the PRC. The report will go to the US Senate, where the debate will be held related to the issue of cyber security.
