UUAZ hands on Mi-171А2 helicopters to pilot operation

Ulan-Ude aviation the plant (UAZ, part of Russian Helicopters) is in talks to transfer the first four Mi-171A2 helicopters to trial operation TASS message of the managing director of the enterprise Leonid Belykh.

The first two (helicopters) - contracts have already been signed - are being put into trial operation in the PRC and Kazakhstan. The question is about two more machines
said White.

In July, the Russian Helicopters holding announced the signing of an agreement with UTair on the transfer of two Mi-171А2s to trial operation in order to jointly launch and promote the helicopter to the Russian market.

Today it became known that Rosaviatsiya issued the holding a type certificate for the medium multipurpose helicopter Mi-171А2 in convertible version. Receipt of this document allows the enterprises of the association to start mass production of machines and supply them to commercial customers.

Belykh noted that there are already potential buyers.

In many ways, the Mi-171А2 bypasses Western counterparts, another advantage of it is that it is cheaper than Western ones. Specifications and certificate give us good opportunities.
he said.

It is reported that one of the most important differences between the Mi-171А2 and the Mi-8 / Mi-17 family of helicopters is the new carrier system: “a more efficient X-shaped tail rotor and a new propeller with a fully composite vanes of an improved aerodynamic layout are installed on the helicopter”. Thus, only due to the aerodynamics, the thrust of the rotor Mi-171А2 increased by more than 700 kg, which had a positive effect on the complex of flight performance. In total, more than 171 changes were made to the base model in the design of the Mi-2А80.

On the contrary, it works for Russia - it’s both loading capacities and salaries for people, and the opportunity to renew the fleet of machines and invest in its development.

It works for Russia as well. The Arctic version of the Mi-171.Mi-8AMTS. The production of the Su-25 has been discontinued. The reason is that the attack aircraft in Syria are more advanced.

... Su-25. Reason-attacked attack aircraft in Syria more modern.

Why don't news agencies quote you? Even Wikipedia does not keep up with you.

Why don't news agencies quote you? Sometimes see RUSSIA-24.Yes and get on the U-UAZ website. You will find out a lot. You are our Wikipedia. And we did not drink to the Brudershaft. So, you are on “YOU”.

Give it up! You "drive". I am not out of malice and not in malice. The irony is yes. There are no attack aircraft in Russia except the Su-25. In Hohland too. Or are you completely "left" or are you hiding something?

Replacing the 25th and giving the 34th multipurpose. It will replace not only the 25th, but also the 24th. Although, I agree. A little attack aircraft will not interfere with us. At U-UAZ, production was stopped.

I read the news of the helicopter industry, it was about releasing a new type of rotor blades with a kink in the middle. When I put it on the MI-8, the lifting force increased by a ton. I can’t wait for what kind of machines it will be used and when such a design appears, it’s clear that this rather for the military, but not yet

Not per ton. For 700 kg. Development of new blades and transmissions for them are underway. It will be used for Mi-8/17 machines and their modifications. Development of blades for Mi-26 is at an alarming pace. Perhaps the results, we will hear already this year. hi

Namely. A new profile and composites. Plus, a new production technology. Something like the "black wing" on the MS-21.
