- the report says.
The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine accused Russia of “disregarding the norms of international law” and expressed concern that, in the opinion of Kiev, the construction of the bridge could cause damage to the environment and navigation through the Kerch Strait.
Earlier, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Yuriy Lavrenyuk said that the Ukrainian authorities consider losses of trade ports and are preparing a lawsuit against Russia because of the restriction of navigation in the Kerch Strait in connection with the construction of the bridge.
Minister of Transport of Russia Maxim Sokolov previously reported that the maritime operation for the transportation and installation of the most dimensional structures of the bridge across the Kerch Strait - arched spans - will take place with minimal navigation restrictions, a one-time suspension on the fairway will not exceed three days. He also stressed that immediately after the completion of technological operations, the channel will immediately open for the passage of vessels.
