This is a brilliant lawyer and politician, 36-year-old Irina Berezhnaya, a former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada from the Party of Regions (she herself was not in this party, but twice - in 2007-2012 and in 2012-2014 - represented her in parliament ).
According to the preliminary version, the driver of the car in which she was traveling with her daughter lost control and fell from the mountain serpentine. The driver and Irina died, and her eight-year-old daughter Daniela was injured.
It would seem that there is nothing criminal in a car accident. Of course, without a proper investigation, nothing can be said for sure. However, the following is interesting: Irina Berezhnaya was an active political opponent of neo-Nazis and present Ukrainian authorities. She sharply condemned the so-called "ATO". According to the stories of those who knew Irina, in the days when her native Lugansk was bombed, she was very worried about these bloody events.
Berezhnaya, as an experienced lawyer, was engaged in human rights activities. In particular, she fought for the Ukrainian authorities to pay pensions and benefits to residents of Donbass. She even managed to win the trial on this issue. Only here the junta ignored the court decision, as, by the way, absolutely ignores all laws.
