Uralvagonzavod (part of Rostec State Corporation), as part of the State Defense Order 2017, delivered to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation a batch of armored demining vehicles BMR-3MA and a batch tanks T-72-B3 with additional protection, the portal reports arms-expo.ru

The new demining machine is an upgraded version of the BRM-3M Vepr and is distinguished from it by a new mine sweep. The “wild boar” was equipped with a track-type trawl and, during operation, covered only the sections necessary for the passage of caterpillars. In the BMR-3MA trawl solid, which clears all the space in front of the machine.
BMR-3MA designed on the basis of the T-90 tank and designed to clear the paths of movement of military equipment columns. They are equipped with a new solid mine tank trawl, a new climate control system, modern digital communications. Modern composite materials are used to protect the crew. BMR-3MA was first manufactured for the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation as part of the state defense order. In addition, on the basis of the BIS-3MA a controlled robotic demining complex “Pass-1” is being developed.

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation received a batch of new demining machines BMR-3MA and T-72-Б3 tanks

According to the developer, the BMR-3MA can effectively clean the roads of contact mines, its cutters chop the wires of remotely controlled land mines, and the electronic jamming system blocks the triggering of radio-controlled explosive devices. BMR-3MA makes passes up to 4,5 m wide and is designed to neutralize mines and land mines installed in snow or soil. The standard armament of the vehicle includes an 12,7-mm machine gun and eight grenade launchers for smoke screens.

T-72B3 with additional protection is able to effectively withstand the best examples of main battle tanks. Modernization has affected a number of machine systems, including the fire control system. The work was also done to automate the processes of monitoring and controlling the power plant: a controller for controlling the chassis systems was introduced to assist the driver, whose action parameters are displayed on a special display. The tank T-72B3 received effective all-protection protection. It allows you to significantly increase its vitality and effectiveness both in the conduct of combined arms combat and in the course of combat operations with the massive use of anti-tank weapons.

Work on the modernization of technology in the UVZ Corporation continues. So, as one of the directions to achieve greater invulnerability of the T-72B3 tank is the installation of the Arena-E active defense system, which allows detecting flying anti-tank weapons and significantly weakening their action, or completely destroying it with specially defended protective ammunition.

A batch of tanks is probably 20 units. T-90 is not being produced for the army now. The existing fleet of various modifications of the T-72 is being upgraded to the level of T-72B3. And they are waiting for Armata, yes.

What do you dislike about 72? As practice shows, a very suitable tank with minimal investments ... If anyone is planning to attack Russia, it’s clearly not with tank divisions, but with nuclear, high-precision missiles ... therefore the priority now in the Russian defense is high-precision weapons, capable of overcome means of attack and defense.

Armata may not be another five years, moreover, it is clearly a delicate treatment, since it is crammed with electronics. And the T-90 is definitely better than the most modernized T-72 and they need the Russian army, and not some black, yellow and gray-brown raspberry importers. But unfortunately the MO is deeply violet on this, Or is Chemezov divided with Rostec’s deals?

I remember there were heated debates about the KAZs, in particular about the “Arena” and “ArenaE”. I think, since they decided to put the T72 on the main tank of our army, and not on the T90, then there is no time, we are modernizing in full swing. After all, the main argument against the “Arena” was “high cost,” however, the same “Drozd” nested well on our tanks.

Thrushes are completely archaic; they were also tested on the T-62. although in general I agree, even they were successful projects, in vain did not go into the series. The same Arena. great thing, just on the T-80U and T-72B3, it will be just right. and they don’t give a damn about money, life’s more expensive, especially since tanks are already available, and quite good cars, tenacious. T-80 is generally beautiful. I came across them twice. first seen in then Soviet Georgia in 1990, in Vaziani. two tanks were delivered first to the Kirov factory on Didube, and then to Vaziani. apparently underwent repairs or service at the Kirov RMZ. and the second time in Cyprus. the machine is simply handsome. with proper equipment. I mean KAZ systems and hinged containers. the engine is very quiet. practically at 50 m it is not audible. tanks often pass under my house, twice a year, at a parade in Thessaloniki. I recorded from the balcony how they go. there the whole quarter from the sounds of turbines, there are a lot of decibels ... the walls are already shaking. and the T-80 would not even notice how they drove. but under my house there are mainly Leopard 1 and 2 A6 Hell (from the word Hellinicos- Greek. Greece Hellas). so I welcome with both hands the idea of equipping them with Arenas. These are the best options. Why wait for the expensive Armata. Although 2 out of 5 tanks need to be equipped with them. until they put the T-14 Armata on the stream. even envy your guys. they will serve on good equipment. I didn’t even dream of such a thing. took a training course in tank driving and tracked platforms on the M-48. and drove in the M-113A3. Well, in general, I was glad with you.

also like 80ki. but again, the finances and the 80s family were not continued. happy with their modernization and adoption in the northern parts. I read somewhere that protecting a tank with a kaz and a dynamic one was about 10 percent of the cost of the tank, I could be wrong for a long time. in any case, the crew’s life is more expensive. Thank you for rejoicing with us.

yes, of course this is somewhere in the region of 10-12% of the total cost, but it is worth it. if the tank lives longer for 3 seconds in a battle, then it can decide the outcome of the battle. and this is not "anyhow." This is a pretty high rate. just some 3 seconds ... one exact hit of the OB and greetings to "Allahakbariks" and others ... there are "noosers" or "banzai." in general, for a long time it was necessary for the old people to "prank thoroughly." the same with AKMs. For a long time it was necessary to modernize the trigger and replace the lid. and that’s it. I’m not afraid to fight with AKM, let any enemy come, the strongest and most prepared. if my company will be with AKM, I’m not afraid even the hell.

Yes. AK 15 is beautiful. I saw, licked ... and so from the small-caliber rifles A-545 is also lovely. I would probably die of happiness embracing this machine gun. or ADS ... there is a sensible rifleman, I'm just an ardent supporter of the Elizarov-Semin cartridges. The most successful cartridge for assault rifles. he is powerful, and mobile, and his ballistics is quite working. up to 800 m can be hit with aim if there is a sight. solitary, he very heaps bullets. I came from an Albanian callash with a sawn butt (there was an oar) and hit the pan lid, somewhere around 0,5 m by 300 m almost everything was in the center. and two-threes just sweetie with him. if the finger is of course dragged. but the G-3 from Heckler und Koch, a little more accurate, but not so mobile. with her offensive where? This is a rifle for protracted. Positional battles. trench, and her cartridge is 308 Winchester. redundant ... Callash is more universal. not to mention the full body kit and upgrade kits. if still GP-25, then generally chocolate. personally, if I took it for myself, I would take the AKS, change only the lid and sight, a couple of parts for the trigger. to reduce traction, GP to it and high-capacity stores. there are 40 and 72 rounds (snail). all .. no more. no fucking picatini. nor thermal imagers ... the maximum is to change the DTK with an oblique cut and set it so that it would be possible to use barreled grenades mono, as on the Fal and Standard. and then ... not always useful.

In fairness, I must say that AEK also offers option 7.62, like AK12 / 15. The ADS is also not averse to holding hands, a thing! foreign counterparts are good, but this is not Kalash. one of a kind _ nugget. In my opinion, one type of AK feels power and reliability. I don’t know, I didn’t have the honor of shooting from an over-the-counter assault rifle, but AK was “pampered” from the heart, and AKM liked it more.

here I am more akin to AKM. I’m talking about that. but I heard about the A-762 of course. but 545 in this line-up is better. for battles where distances often change to short and super-close. there are up to 15 m when to the enemy. and yes, I agree to the whole hundred AKM for all time weapons. moreover, he can shoot bullets like BZ, but 5,45 is not.

Well, it seems like such a concept is in the air, or rather it is discussed that like AEK 5.45 will go to specialists, AK15 to the troops. but while the tender gives heat, it started with two, four automatic machines go to completion.

There are no advantages there, these are the same tanks.
If the T-72 pump it will surpass the T90.
Our best tank is the T-72B3 2016. And all sorts of bench t-90 MS and nafig armatures didn’t give up to us, so take them away.

    newcomer,
everything is going well with you. both machines are excellent samples and Ak-15 and A-545. and there the more they will be the better. 4 and even 5, which was plenty to choose from for specials. they have different tasks, sometimes 5,45 is good, sometimes 7,62 is required. so let it be all. and then they will figure out to whom which machine is more suitable.

If we compare the T-14, it’s like the German Tigers of the Second World War, powerful defenders, but the technological T-34 won the war, and its heirs are the T-72B3, which we can mass produce and also train crews. And in the conditions of a long protracted war - this will definitely not be amiss.
