Two new diving boats entered the Northern Fleet

16
The Northern Fleet received two new raid boats for emergency and rescue support of project 23040. The Nizhegorodskiy Teplohod plant and the Russian Ministry of Defense signed two acceptance and transfer acts for the RVK-1229 and RVK-1230 boats for service in the Northern Diving Service fleet.

According to the press service of the plant, RVK-1229 and RVK-1230 are the 17 and 18 boats of the 23040 series. Initially, the plant received an order for 16 of such vessels, but later the series was increased to 22 boats. Currently built 20 ships project 23040. June 8 launched the 19 and 20 series boats - the RVK-1239 and RVK-1261. In the near future, they will undergo sea trials and enter the Pacific Fleet, reports Flot.com.

The diving boats of the 23040 project proved to be excellent in the Northern, Pacific, Baltic fleets and the Caspian flotilla. Along with performing diving operations at depths up to 60 meters at sea waves up to 3 points, the new generation is able to carry out prospecting works with the help of a small remote-controlled uninhabited underwater vehicle and a towed sonar.

In addition, 23040 boats can effectively extinguish fires on ships and ships, floating and coastal facilities up to 30 meters, pump out water from an emergency ship and provide power to the ship or ship de-energized as a result of the accident.

Boats of the 23040 project are a further development of the A160 project series, built in 2010-2012 for the State Marine Rescue Service of Russia, as well as the diving boat of the ZT28D Pelican project. The ships have high power and ice class, which allows them to work confidently on external raids and beyond, away from their bases to 50 miles.

I look that the thruster is on it, maybe it has DP (Dynamic Position)? I think that such a rotary engine throttle aka azipoda / thruster would be nice to visit.

On two screws and a bow thruster, it is possible to keep a place without DP, they can jam GPS And Glonas, radio buoys, it is independent of them

Work screws, PU and even turn the steering wheel incompatible with the work of divers under water!

Where is incompatible? If he did not know this in the Navy, then only anchored? And if the depth is 60m, you also become anchored, or how it all looks.

Right now, a diver in a bell 34m deep has two azimuth propulsors and three bow thrusters, a diver catches

pipe cutter - oil rig basics
        .

If the diver inspects your ship anchored or anchored at the berth, then yes, as you have identified with fresher, it is.

Great, if so! I hope that the Navy will soon work like that, but for now only at anchor (or maybe I have already lagged behind life - I commanded such a ship a long time ago ...)

So far, in the Navy, only "Yantar" as far as I know, he can do all this, but he is a scout and not a diver :)

It is possible, but not always possible. We have two SRS and a bow thruster on the bow. There is a DP, but not certified. Holds a position, but if the wind is strong along the beam, it will demolish the vessel. It holds well against the wind. hi
I worked on azimuths, two in the stern, a steering wheel in the bow. Here, this interesting ship was. They let me steer (I'm a mechanic), I liked it, very maneuverable.

Well, in bad weather and for more than 2 knots, divers will not work and climb :)

Azimuths are my specialization, how many highly skilled specialists for a foreign uncle we have, unfortunately our country doesn’t really need us.
I’d love to serve the Motherland at “Yantar”, I asked by the way when he was building up in Kaliningrad, but they told me that, 2 months Kronstadt,
the rank of senior lieutenant and for border guards for 5 years in Murmansk, all that they have for me, and in the azimuths they will find someone or teach.

Yes, that’s right, that’s right. There are specialists, but they are not in demand in their homeland. And I (though not an expert in azimuth) also work for my uncle over the hill. There is nothing to do at Amber. When I got a job, I also worked on this option. So there is trouble with the salary, and at that time they were detained for 2-3 months. Now I do not know. So he went to work over the hill, since our country cannot offer a decent option.

I’m glad for our shipbuilders .... I’m delivering Chugunin to them .... ours are generally in front of the whole planet .... in Navashino they are building a shock ... Bor also bakes .... Sokolsky shipyard has never broken in 12 years not a single order .. It’s only Krasnoye Sormovo who makes it for civilian needs ... a month ago they laid down a 4-deck pleasure boat + bulk carriers riveting .... it’s a pity that s / n are insignificant, but this is probably fixable - would there be trade unions and access to the body of the owner .... Although these are my fantasies about increasing the salary ..... today the average for Kr Sormovo is from 12000-27000 per arm ....

Yes, sadly with salaries in Cr. Sormovo. And what kind of salaries are there in "effective managers"? While such salaries, normal specialists will not want to work there. Probably there are smart guys who work not for money, but for the idea ... but it shouldn’t be like that. IMHO. hi
