The US Senate approved a bill that provides for additional sanctions against Russia, Iran and the DPRK. Previously, the document was voted almost unanimously in the US House of Representatives. It remains to sign Trump.
Provides for sanctions against financial institutions of the Russian Federation and their employees, which help the Syrian President Bashar Assad to obtain or develop weapon mass destruction and missile potential. In addition, the new bill aims to punish individuals suspected of involvement in US cyber attacks.
Industrial restrictive measures are also envisaged, including the tightening of restrictions on the transfer of American technology for the exploration and production of Russian oil in deep-water areas, the Arctic shelf and shale. New US sanctions, if approved at the White House, may suffer projects involving Russian and European companies: Baltic LNG, Blue Stream, the pipeline of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium, Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 and others . In Berlin, they have already perceived the new bill as a threat to their economic interests and energy security and opposed the introduction of such restrictions.
Berlin in the position of "for" and "against" anti-Russian sanctions
In fact, the United States declared a gas war against Russia. Congressmen and Trump want the Europeans to buy gas from America. However, not everything is so simple with the American "logistics". Gas from the United States is sold, as they say, at the exit from the factory. But the further movement of LNG and its delivery is a concern of European transit companies. The increased price of gas will be a kind of payment for friendship with America. However, the joy of this “friendship” in Europe is not noticeable. Especially the Germans felt sad ...

Country house story
The United States will view Moscow’s response to arresting Russian diplomatic property as a demarche and take new measures, an informed source in the Russian capital told Interfax. “The American side warned that if Russia takes measures in connection with the arrest of Russian diplomatic ownership in the US, Washington will respond to them as a separate demarche followed by reciprocal actions,” the agency’s source said.
On July 18, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov, at a meeting with Senior Undersecretary of State Thomas Shannon, said that Russia reserves the right to retaliate if it continues to block its own property in the United States. The day before, the press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, said that Washington should return the real estate objects, without setting any conditions for Moscow. So he commented on a statement by a high-ranking White House official that the US authorities would demand "something in return."
Recall, the Obama administration seized two diplomatic buildings from the Russians - one in Maryland and the other in New York. This was done at the end of December with the wording “punishment for Russia's intervention in the election of the 2016 of the year.” Mr. Obama then noted that the Russian government used these two properties for "espionage purposes."
The logic of the Americans is simple to ugliness: we have taken property away from you for “cyber-interference in elections”, so you have no right to punish us “mirror-like”: we didn’t interfere in your elections.
What is there to do? Our Foreign Ministry could try to take away something real from the Americans in Moscow, referring to the election 1996 of the year. Americans do not even hide that B. Yeltsin at the time was elected with their help.

The time lost by the Kremlin to respond to Washington only worked for the USA and strengthened the aggressive positions of the militarists in the US Congress against the Russian Federation and against Trump himself as the US President!

Debt payment is beautiful
The amount that Ukraine has to pay Russia for failing to fulfill its obligations on Eurobonds from the times of Viktor Yanukovich today amounts to almost $ 3,5 billion. The High Court of London approved the amount that Ukraine should pay Russia for defaulting on bonds owned by the National Welfare Fund for $ 3 billion. The Russian Ministry of Finance in a press release, an English court ruled that, in addition to the principal debt of $ 3 billion and the unpaid coupon of $ 75 million, Ukraine must pay penalty interest on the principal debt and the amount of non-payment ennogo coupon. According to the Ministry of Finance, the daily penalty percentage is more than $ 673 thousand and is calculated from December 21 2015 of the year.
Thus, the amount of the fine as of 26 July 2017 of the year (for 584 of the day) is $ 393 million. This means that today Ukraine owes Russia 3,47 billion dollars. And that's not all: the court ordered Ukraine to reimburse Russia for legal costs £ 2,8 million ($ 3,6 million).
On the other hand, it seems Ukraine is not going to pay. According to the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, the court accepted the position of Kiev and suspended the execution of the court decision on the payment of the debt. The pause will last until the completion of the consideration of the appeal of Ukraine, the statement of the Ukrainian Ministry of Finance said. Until the appeal is considered, Russia will not be able to forcibly recover debt.
In addition, the court extended the decision, which excludes the possibility of forcing Ukraine to pay the debt, until the verdict of the Court of Appeal, in which hearings are scheduled for January 2018.

Bum in a tie
Mikhail Saakashvili, the famous “participant of the three Maidans”, a tie lover and the author of a profound maxim, was unlucky: “Bebebe, no one has spoken to me like that yet.”
26 July another famous maydanschik, Petro Poroshenko, deprived Saakashvili of his Ukrainian citizenship. “I am a man without a country,” stated the latter-day person.
The fate of Saakashvili is indicative: for those who run from one country to another, from one homeland reels on the "new", apparently, life is a way to fall. It came to the point that one MEP proposed to give Mr. Saakashvili the status of ... non-citizen of Latvia. It is curious: would not Saakashvili in such a status fight in Latvia for the rights of the Russian-speaking population?

Liquidated due to financial difficulties.
State aircraft-building concern "Antonov" was liquidated by the decision of the government of Ukraine.
Earlier, the Ministry of Economic Development of Ukraine published a list of enterprises that in the long run should remain in state ownership, be transferred to concession, privatized or liquidated. A total of 1255 objects are subject to liquidation. Along with the Antonov concern, the authorities plan to liquidate the shipyard in Chernomorsk, the Museum of the Marine fleet Ukraine, as well as the Odessa Railway.
The sad fate of Antonov is easy to explain: the concern had financial difficulties. This happened after the state company was removed from the Russian-Ukrainian enterprise in 2015.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine ...
Here are messages from the Ukrainian media that cited the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: “The Russian has deployed three motorized rifle divisions near the borders of Ukraine, which are not intended for defense, these units have a clear offensive direction. This was stated by the Chief of the General Staff - Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko ... The organizational structure, armament and military equipment used to recruit them indicates that these Russian divisions are in essence shock and are intended for offensive operations. Even in the regular name there is the concept of “drums”, which distinguishes them from other divisions and emphasizes a special purpose ... ”
And how did the Russian "imperceptibly" deployed three divisions - in a peaceful time, but under the watchful eyes of NATO, and under the supervision of the Ukrainians too? Or is it a stealth division? Where did the military intelligence and Muzhenko himself observe these divisions? They say that in the upholstered chambers of scouts more and more!

I don’t know if you remember the Ukrainian shells that have flown to us by chance. And not just flown, but also killed people. But there was no answer ... Is this fair?
Creeping retreat
A whole series of tactically important events occurred over the past month and a half on the contact line dividing the occupied territories of the LDNR and the liberated territories of the republics controlled by the Ukrainian military formations. This is, recalls E. Damantsev, about the gradual "creeping retreat" of various units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the trench infrastructure and significant strongholds on the strategically important operational areas of the Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics.
Thanks to this, further offensive in the southern direction will be possible (Pobeda, Elizovetovka and Novomikhailovka), where the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine concentrated a rather impressive artillery "fist" consisting of "Hyacinths-B", "Hurricanes" and "Gradov". It is possible that this offensive will be an intermediate stage for depriving the Ukrainian Armed Forces of the opportunity to fire at Donetsk from heavy weapons, and possibly the beginning of a large throw in the direction of Ugledar with the formation of the Volnovakhsky boiler. One of several priority directions is now indicated.

1. The reaction, negative, of Belarus and Kazakhstan in case Russia would have annexed the whole of New Russia (Donbass).
2. Plus, the price is purely monetary, material expenses, Crimea is also worth the money, but with Novorossia the expenses would be several times, or even ten times more, more.
There are other moments about which I did not leave, not everything is as simple as you think.

Judging by the overall picture, AK Republicans are quite able to drive into the boiler of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And there the defense will fall. Too delayed the "peace process" policy. Most fighters now brain convolutions revolve around a simple thought: "Or chest in the crosses, or the head in the bushes." We'll see...
USA? No unique features!
In previous works, we returned several times to a comparative review of various types of domestic radar systems of the Radio-Technical Forces of Russia with their American counterparts. As a result, it turned out that the high technical indicators of our stations, together with their much larger nomenclature, determine a significant separation from state products, which cannot boast of any unique functions. Clearly just the contrast is seen in comparison with the standard surveillance radar decimeter AN range / TPS-75 «Tipsy» c Russian multifunction radar centimeter range 64L6 "Gamma S1" or all-altitude radar detector AN / TPS-59 with domestic interspecific RLC 55ZH6M "sky-M ". If the list of functions of US stations is very limited (air traffic control and targeting for anti-aircraft missile batteries), then our complexes (due to their multi-range) can be hardware and software methods adapted to direct targeting for anti-aircraft missiles during the interception of enemy targets, the observer believes Evgeny Damantsev.
In addition, it is hoped that the Russian defense industry will soon have a decent response in the form of a multifunctional dual-use radar complex with an increased work resource due to the introduction of AFAR technology with an LTCC substrate. This technology is able to put a bullet in the “interspecific radar race” between Russia and the United States.

2. Cheap yucky-patriotic humor. Such complexes are characterized not by dislocation, but by a place in the OHS of parts and connections. And the total number in ST. What is the point, that it is comparable to the similar American (even if it is), if their specific quantity is less by an order of magnitude?
In search of Russian surprises
Veterans RUMO (Intelligence Directorate of the US Department of Defense) suggested what types of weapons Russia may have and came to very interesting conclusions. This was told by Johann Lerner from Brussels.
So, they considered that in Russia, on the basis of already existing types of armaments, mobile trains of missile weapons and air defense disguised as ordinary trains could be created. They are capable of launching launchers of Caliber type missiles, Iskander type missiles, as well as powerful air defense systems as part of the C-400 or C-500, Pantsir-S complexes, etc. Taking into account the possibilities of the Russian railway network, such modern “armored trains” will be able to travel at speeds up to 1200 kilometers per day and quickly reinforce existing groups of troops in theaters of operations.
In addition, the Russians achieved great success in creating combat robots. The presence of such devices in conjunction with a huge number of fairly modern Russian tanks (T-72 or T-80) equipped with automatic loaders allows you to create numerous battle groups of tanks at low cost, consisting of 2-3 vehicles, of which only one will be inhabited.
Allowing these and some other assumptions, the retired intelligence officers called on the RUMO and the Trump administration to stop underestimating the Russian army and use only verified information.
Earlier, other Western experts said that the outcome of the confrontation in the modern world can no longer be solved by floating, flying and traveling metal pieces. At the head of such experts put artificial intelligence, cyber espionage and electronic financial sector. Someone John Thornhill even declared planes with tanks "old-fashioned." Such experts, in our opinion, should take a closer look at the conflicts of modern times: Syria, Ukraine, Yemen, Iraq, etc. Where did the cabinet hackers win? Where did without fighters, without tanks and aircraft, that is, without the technology that "flies and goes"? Of course, it is impossible to write off a cyber warfare account, but declaring the plane something “old-fashioned” is at least naive.
