According to the website of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, all artillery units are involved in artillery camp camps. Exercises are now taking place in the Zabaikalsky, Primorsky and Khabarovsk territories, in Buryatia, in the Amur and Sakhalin regions, in the Jewish autonomy - at fourteen training complexes and testing grounds of the Eastern Military District.
The servicemen will march up to 400 km in a combined way, working out the battle coordination of batteries and calculations. The VVO artillerymen will also have to accomplish individual tasks in half-direct and direct fire combat shooting, from closed firing positions using different types of ammunition.
The specificity of these exercises is that for the first time in the course of the training, an experiment on feeding the military in the field by third-party enterprises is carried out. Field camps deployed field kitchens and canteens, which are served by the currently popular outsourcing system. The main task of field kitchens and canteens is to provide servicemen with hot meals in accordance with the applicable standards.
Exam on professional skills at the end of the artillery trainings will be tactical exercises with live firing from a regular weapons.
