Crew, ammunition, engineering and personal property calculation. It’s quite reasonable.

Isn’t it easier then to make the built-in one, or else they fence a garden with loading and unloading?

Well, do not throw away mortars ... By the way, we are also replacing a transport vehicle. And the Belarusians.
By the way, apparently cars with lifting platforms. Unloading ammunition will be much more convenient than ours.

It won’t work, the folding time is too long. It was possible to make 4 mortars on the sides, in pairs to tie to the supports and fold the hydraulics already in motion. Oh, we would like their capabilities.

Tatra 8 * 8 has a carrying capacity of 15 tons and weighs 20 tons without armor. And it’s lucky 1 mortar, a couple of minutes and 6 calculation personnel? In such a truck, you can immediately load the entire battery and there will still be space.

Perhaps you think that something like "Gazelle" was better?
It is clear that this machine is intended for the following purposes
Mortar, ammunition and crew are transported in the back of a car, weapons are lowered and raised using a stern ramp with electric drive.

And most likely there will be more than one ammunition in the back, but at least dad. Car traffic is high. The solution is quite normal.

Not easier. The use of a self-propelled mortar is not always possible. Yes, he just might not be on the staff of the unit, but on a loading platform - we use KAMAZs with the 6x6 formula for this. And unfortunately without lifting devices

Such questions surprise me. Sorry, but sometimes idiotic. Should a country have its own army or not? If it should, then with whom to fight - there will always be. Take the same our former union republics. Who is going to fight with, for example, Uzbekistan? Or Kazakhstan? But armies have ...

mortar is a weapon of the leading edge, it must be mobile and not noticeable ... and here it is so inconspicuous laughing
