Exercise in the Barents Sea is completed

21
In the Barents Sea, a set of joint tasks was worked out by surface ships of the North fleet together with the forces of the sea aviation and the nuclear submarine of the SF, after which they all returned to Severomorsk, to the main base.

According to the official representative of the Northern Fleet, Captain 1 of the rank of Vadim Sergi, during the weekly launch into the sea, the crews of anti-submarine ships successfully coped with the implementation of a complex of depth bombing and torpedo firing with practical use weapons. According to Sergi, this approach to the sea, where anti-submarine ships joined, became one of the main measures of combat training during the winter training period.

The captain of the 1 rank Vadim Serga also said that the naval search and attack group, consisting of large anti-submarine ships "Vice-Admiral Kulakov" and "Admiral Chabanenko", took part in the exercises. At sea, the crews of warships, interacting with the anti-submarine Il-38 and the Ka-27 helicopter, worked out the tasks associated with finding an atomic submarine of a conditional enemy and countering nuclear submarines using anti-submarine weapons. During the exercise, issues of joint maneuvering, organizing joint actions and communications between ships were also worked out. Shortly before returning to the base, the crews of the ships conducted joint exercises on air defense.

According to the official representative of the Federation Council, during the past exercises, the crew of the BOD Admiral Chabanenko managed to prepare for the Russian-Norwegian exercises Pomor-2012, which will be held in May of this year. The command of the Northern Fleet gave a good assessment of the work of the crews of the ships, saying that they conducted a high-quality working out of all the stages of complex exercises, which indicates their readiness for interaction as part of groups of heterogeneous forces.

      God forbid that we only carry out exercises. However, the situation in the world shows, learning and gaining skill is necessary, vital. After all, the guarantor of prosperity and non-dependence is only one - the army, navy and aviation. Only strong people are recognized in the world, weak countries end sadly.

          All right. I am sincerely glad that the political leadership of the country decided to revive the fleet, army, aviation and does not forget about strategic and military-space forces. And most importantly, let conscripts and contract soldiers train and improve their skills. As Suvorov said not by number, but by skill.
          Then those wishing to make Russia some kind of muck will decrease good .

          By the way, I remembered how in August 2008 the Georgian military "ships" decided to attack our warships in the Black Sea belay ... The Russian sailors, when they saw that the Georgian "ships" were approaching at high speed with them, asked the Georgians not to do this. fool ... They disobeyed and continued the attack. Then "Fearless" fired a missile at the enemy and sank one "ship" angry ... In response, the "brave" Georgians turned around and, without slowing down, disappeared into their port crying. The Georgians made no more attempts to attack the Russian Fleet, even under the guise of NATO patrons.
          TOTAL: - Consumption 1 rocket;
          - one enemy "ship" was sunk;
          - the war at sea ended with the complete victory of the Russian Navy.

            ... But it was like that .....
            On the morning of August 10, a group of Russian Navy ships left the port of Novorossiysk and headed for Sukhumi (Abkhazia). On board two large landing ships were 500 peacekeepers with military equipment and equipment. They were accompanied by two escort ships, including a small missile ship Mirage. At the same time, five high-speed Georgian boats equipped with anti-ship missiles came out of the port of Poti to meet them.

            "Vesti" restored the further development of events literally minute by minute.

            18:39. Russian radar reconnaissance discovers several naval high-speed targets, marching in combat on the formation of our ships.

            18:40. The enemy boats approached a critical distance. From the flagship Caesar Kunikov, a command is issued to open a warning fire. An anti-aircraft missile was fired from one of the ships and fell between Georgian boats. But they pick up speed and try to reach the so-called "dead zone", where missile weapons are useless. Small rocket

            the boat "Mirage" is ordered to destroy the enemy.

            18:41. The commander of the Mirage gives the command "Volley!" The first missile went to the target. A few seconds later - the second. The flight time to the Georgian boat "Tbilisi" is 1 minute 20 seconds. The distance between the opponents is about 25 kilometers.

            The first missile hits the engine room of the "Tbilisi" boat, the second - into the wheelhouse. There was a strong illumination on the radar for 30 seconds, which means the complete destruction of the target, accompanied by a large release of thermal energy.

            18:50. The commander of the Mirage gives the command to change position. The ship leaves at high speed towards the coast, makes a U-turn and again lays down on a combat course. The radar shows only 4 targets. One of them - a Georgian boat, having increased its speed, is going to approach our ship. The distance to the target is 15 kilometers. The Mirage fires a salvo with the Osa anti-aircraft system. The missile hits the side of a Georgian boat, which immediately slows down and tries to get out of the line of fire. The rest of the Georgian ships come out of the battle, turning sharply in the opposite direction.

            19:28. After checking the sea space, the Mirage takes its place in the ranks of ships sailing to Sukhumi. From the report to the flagship: "Of the five targets, one is destroyed, one is damaged, three are out of action. Missile consumption: anti-ship - two, anti-aircraft - one, no losses among personnel. No damage to the ship."

              "Tbilisi" Was blown up at the pier on August 13, 2008 by a reconnaissance group of the Russian army that entered the Georgian naval base in Poti. Completely burned out, and then sank at the pier. Recovery is impossible.

                familiar port, familiar marinas from the first campaign. The Marines came off to the full. Poti is an interesting arrogance, blocked in three blocks from land and the port city is cut off from the rest of Georgia.

            The term ship means any vehicle for the transport of passengers or goods.
            All ships carrying a naval flag are considered to be ships.
            A ship in the plural - ships.

      Few ships, few. It is necessary that our nuclear cruiser, with submarines and aircraft-carrying cruisers and with support, would stand behind every "corner". Then we can talk about not using the army and navy in real events. And so it is quite joyful.

        There are enough ships there .. It’s just that for certain tasks we need different classes of ships ... Against the boats we need just such ...

      Of course a lot is good. But it’s even better to just have ENOUGH quantity. because Too much means too much maintenance.

      Then, that for small targets and at a short distance shoot Malachite is not entirely reasonable and profitable. And Wasps enough.
