Corporation "Rostec" and Vnesheconombank (VEB) announced the launch of a joint venture "Conversion", which will promote high-tech defense products in international markets, reports RIA News Post press service VEB.
The agreement between Rostec and VEB was concluded in early June of this year. It was reported that “the enterprise will also ensure the transfer of technologies and products of defense industry enterprises to civilian segments”.
NPO "Conversion" is already working on the selection of projects in the following promising areas: "Smart City" in the framework of the program "Digital Economy of Russia", medical equipment and medical equipment, solving environmental problems, energy, information and communication technologies, civil engineering,

It is reported that "the joint venture will identify the market needs and look for opportunities to promote and sell defense industry products, their analytical support, assistance in raising funds for conversion projects and the implementation of ecosystem projects."
In addition, the joint venture will contribute to “creating demand for civilian products of defense enterprises, promoting domestic defense products in the B2G market, and developing non-production competencies of employees, primarily in marketing, industrial design and analytics,” the press service added.
