Divers of the Black Sea Fleet for the first time tried new ventilated diving equipment

Diving Specialists of the Rescue Ship Epron of the Black Sea fleet (PF) for the first time in carrying out the training task of assisting emergency submarines, they tested the new diving ventilated equipment (UHV), reports press office Southern Military District.
The equipment was presented by developers from JSC Kampo in May of this year in Sevastopol, where at that time the collection of search and rescue specialists of the Navy was taking place. Almost immediately after this, preparations began in conjunction for testing equipment in actual operating conditions.
Using new kits, divers, together with representatives of JSC Kampo, made several dozen test dives, including to the depth of 60 meters. The results of the tests will be summarized and discussed with the designers and manufacturers.
The equipment diving ventilated (UHV), is intended for performance of underwater technical, rescue and other types of diving works in the conditions of low temperatures of water and air. It is adapted for use in environments with high density and the presence of various contaminants, including those with a high content of petroleum products.
