"Flying BMP": transport and combat helicopter Mi-35M

10
Unusual training in landing was conducted by special forces of the Southern Military District. Why unusual? The fact is that in practice it turned out that the main transport tasks are performed by the Mi-8 helicopters and its modifications. Mi-8 has a more spacious cargo cabin, wide doorways, a ramp and a winch for easy loading and unloading of paratroopers and cargo. However, the task of delivering the landing force can also be performed traditionally used for fire support of the Mi-35M; for these purposes, the helicopter is equipped with a cargo cabin capable of carrying 8 fighters in full gear.

It is necessary to supplement the article with the characteristics of a helicopter and a photo of the internal space.

I read a lot of debates about which helicopter is the best. Milevsky or Kamovsky? I will say, do not compare them! They have different purposes, Mi is an air assault vehicle, Ka 52 is an attack aircraft. Both cars are needed by our Army and Navy!

Mi-35 and Ka-52 no one compares. Much closer to the tasks performed by the Mi-28.

With the paratroopers inside it would be better. I did not find any satisfactory pictures.
But this picture will come in handy.

Saved weight at the expense of speed, decided that it was more important.

The name MI-34 would be more convenient for continuity with MI-24.
