Possible delivery of T-90MS to Egypt
In social networks, information appeared on the agreements reached for the supply of a large batch of main combat tanks T-90MS to Egypt. The blogger Altyn73 was the first to write about this in livejournal, citing Arab sources. According to him, we are talking about the supply of 400-500 tanks, including in the form of transmission of car kits for the assembly of military vehicles directly in Egypt.
Currently, this is only a rumor, but several Egyptian bloggers actually wrote about the Egyptian-Russian talks on a very large deal on "one of the strongest tanks in the world." Allegedly, this issue was previously discussed during the visit of the Russian ministers Sergey Shoigu and Sergey Lavrova to 29 in May (supply of arms in exchange for the resumption of air communication between the states). Once again, this question could have been raised the next day during the negotiations of the second Crown Prince, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Defense, Mohammed bin Salman, with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the meeting was held in the Russian capital.
T-90MS was created in the framework of development work on the theme “Breakthrough-2”. The tank is the most modern export version of the T-90 tank. The new 125-mm gun 2А46М-5 is used as the main armament. The tank has a modern fire control system “Kalina”, a dynamic set of “Relic” instead of “Contact-5”, as well as a remote-controlled machine-gun installation. In September, at the RAE-2015 exhibition, representatives of Uralvagonzavod noted that the corporation had completed a full cycle of tests for the export of the T-2015MS tank, the machine is fully ready for mass production. With the opinion of experts on the possibility of concluding a contract for the supply of MBT data to Egypt, you can find in the materialFree press».
Earlier that the contract for the supply of T-90MS tanks was concluded with one of the Middle Eastern countries said the Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Denis Manturov. It is worth noting that if the contract is really concluded, then 500 tanks will cost Cairo about two billion dollars.
Deliveries of C-300 VM (Antey-2500) SAM systems to Egypt began.
Internet resource "Menadefense”In its article“ Egypt to recieve Antey 2500 missile systems, ”reports that Russia has begun to ship the modern An-300 C-2500BM anti-aircraft missile system to Egypt. The first combat vehicles of this air defense system have already been delivered to the country. Confirmations are photos of the unloading of combat vehicles and missiles ZRS X-NUMXВМ taken in the port of Alexandria and appeared in the network in June 300.
It is worth noting that Egypt became the second customer after the Venezuela of this anti-aircraft missile system. Its inclusion in the Egyptian air defense system, according to experts, is able to change the balance of power in the region. In particular, the supply of this air defense system is concerned with Israel. In general, it can be stated that Egypt is currently becoming a major buyer of Russian weapons. In addition to air defense systems, Egypt ordered a large batch of Ka-52 attack helicopters (46 units) in Russia, as well as approximately 50 MiG-29М / М2 fighters. The exact number of Antey-2500 air defense systems acquired by Egypt is not known, according to some sources we are talking about two divisions. At the same time, the cost of the supplied batch can be approximately 500 million dollars.
The Antey-300 C-2500BM long-range anti-aircraft missile system is an export version of the C-300В advanced air defense system. Mobile multi-channel C-300ВМ is designed to hit modern and promising strategic and tactical aircraft (including those made using Stealth technology), operational-tactical and tactical missiles, medium-range ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and aero ballistic missiles, and also airplanes radar patrol and guidance, reconnaissance, shock complexes and protivorasshiruyuschie jammers.
According to the manufacturer’s company site (VKO Almaz-Antey concern), the system is able to simultaneously fire 24 air targets (with 2-4 missiles aimed at each target) at maximum range up to 250 km and at altitudes up to 25-30 km. The maximum speed of intercepted targets can be 4,5 thousands of meters per second. A more sophisticated version of this family of systems is the C-300B4, to which the Russian military air defense is currently actively rearming.
A contract for the supply of two amphibians Be-200 to China has been signed
26 June 2017 of the year in Taganrog signed a contract between PJSC “TANTK named after GM Beriev” and the Chinese company Leader Energy Aircraft Manufacturing Co. Ltd. for the delivery to China of two amphibious aircraft Be-200 with an option for two more Be-200, reports official site Russian enterprise. This contract was the development of a memorandum of understanding and cooperation, which was signed during the International Air and Space Exhibition Airshow China 2016. In addition, a contract was signed in Taganrog for the delivery to China of two more Be-103 amphibious aircraft and the organization of their licensed production, the creation of a service center for the maintenance of amphibious aircraft and a school for technical and flight personnel training in the territory of the People's Republic of China.
According to experts, the cost of the contract is at least 100 million dollars (about 50 million per aircraft). It is worth noting that China will become the second country in the world, except Russia, which will receive this amphibian aircraft. Another such aircraft is operated by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan. Currently, it is known about the interest in the aircraft from Indonesia, which is ready to purchase from two to four aircraft of this type.
In the People's Republic of China, the task of fighting forest fires is quite acute, and therefore acquired Be-200 can be used for these purposes. Also, the aircraft will be able to transport passengers and cargo to remote regions of the country, for example, to Tibet, where there are enough clean lakes, but few airfields, experts say. Most likely, the Russian amphibian will also be partially investigated in the interests of programs implemented in the PRC. In particular, Beijing is currently developing the world's largest seaplane AG600. At the same time it is created taking into account other requirements, it will be able to take off even with more excitement than the Russian Be-200, therefore it would be preferable to work in the open sea and is more suitable for the naval forces of China.
Bangladesh purchased five more Mi-171Sh helicopters
13 June in Dhaka, the representative of Rosoboronexport JSC Dmitry Ageev and Deputy Chief of Staff of the Air Force of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Vice Marshal Naim Hassan signed a contract to supply the country with an additional batch of Russian military transport helicopters Mi-171Sh. This transaction is part of the policy of the republic to modernize the fleet of its air force. Among other things, these helicopters are planned to be used in UN peacekeeping operations.
According to "Interfax"Referring to the press secretary of the Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant (part of the holding company" Russian Helicopters ") Svetlana Usoltseva, the construction of five Mi-171Sh helicopters for Bangladesh Air Force will begin before the end of 2017. The helicopters will be built as part of the implementation of the agreement between Rosoboronexport and the military command of the Republic of Bangladesh. The amount of the signed contract is currently not disclosed. The press service of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Buryatia stressed that this project is a continuation of many years of mutually beneficial cooperation with the Ministry of Defense of Bangladesh in general and the Air Force of this country, in particular. It is worth noting that earlier this Russian aircraft factory manufactured similar helicopters, in particular, for Ghana, Peru, and the Czech Republic.
The Mi-171Sh helicopter is a military transport helicopter based on the Mi-171 (Mi-8АМТ), it is produced at Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant. The main purpose of this vehicle is to transport and disembark landing (up to 37 people with weapons and equipment), suppress the centers of resistance in the disembarkation zone, transport cargo up to 4 tons in the cargo compartment and on the external suspension elements, transport the wounded and sick (to 12 man accompanied by medical staff). The helicopter can be used effectively enough to hit fire points, manpower and armored vehicles of the enemy. For the suspension of various means of destruction, special farms with beam holders are installed on the helicopter.
The Belarusian army received T-72B3 tanks with additional protection
In spite of the T-72 tank modernization projects being developed by Belarusian enterprises, the country's defense ministry ultimately preferred the Russian version that has already been developed and standardized, all the more equipped with a modern multi-channel gunner's sight from Belarus. According to the Belarusian TV channelMilitaryTV"(The plot was shown on 2 on June 2017 of the year), the upgraded T-72B3 tanks entered service with the Belarusian army. The vehicles were solemnly handed over to the 969 tank reserve personnel. The solemn event was attended by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Belarus, Lieutenant-General Andrei Ravkov, other representatives of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces, as well as a delegation from Russia from Uralvagonzavod Research and Production Corporation JSC. New armored vehicles were put into service under the existing Treaty between the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation on military-technical cooperation, as well as in accordance with the State Weapons Program for the 2016-2020 years.
The upgraded T-72B3 tanks received a more powerful HP 1130 engine, as well as an improved weapon system. The changes were also made to the armor of the tank, which was reinforced by the hull side screens with sets of removable modular protection. On one of the transferred tanks were placed "soft" hinged containers with dynamic protection.
The new tank guided weapons complex guarantees a high probability of hitting the target from a spot and on the move at a distance of 5 kilometers, and the introduction of an automatic target tracking device simplifies the work of the tank gunner, especially when shooting on the move, as well as at moving targets. The tank also received a new 125-mm gun 2А46М-5 with increased barrel survivability, a new multi-channel gunner Sosna-U produced by Belarusian JSC Peleng, a new radio station VHF P-168-25Y-2 "Aqueduct", and also fire-fighting equipment. Another novelty is a digital ballistic computer with a set of weather sensors that is able to automate the process of preparing the shot and significantly improves the accuracy of firing from a tank gun.
Azerbaijan received a new party, "Chrysanthemum-S"
A new batch of self-propelled anti-tank missile systems "Chrysanthemum-S" was delivered from Russia to Azerbaijan. As Azerbaijan’s website az.azeridefence.com reported on 24 on June 2017, a new batch was delivered from Russia (according to bmpd, we are talking about a divisional kit) of 9K123 “Chrysanthem-S” complexes bought by the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry. Combat vehicles arrived in Baku aboard the Russian sea ferry "Composer Rachmaninov".
The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan signed a contract with Rosoboronexport for the purchase of a batch of self-propelled ATGM 9K123 Chrysanthemum-S back in 2014, the delivery of combat vehicles of the first batch was made back in 2015. According to the blog information bmpdThe new supply is part of the resumed deliveries of weapons and military equipment of Russian production to Azerbaijan under previously concluded contracts between the countries. Previously, deliveries of military equipment to the country were suspended for more than a year due to the financial problems of Baku, but by now, as can be judged, the differences between Russia and Azerbaijan over the payment for the delivered weapons have been resolved.
New information appeared on the delivery of MiG-29 fighters to Serbia
According to the blog bmpd With reference to its own source in the military industry of the Southern Balkans, vehicles from Serbia are currently undergoing training in Lipetsk in order to master the service of multi-purpose MiG-29 fighters. At the same time, the delivery of 6 fighters MiG-29 from the presence of the Russian Aerospace Forces, the agreement on the transfer of which to Serbia was signed in 2016, is scheduled for July 2017. Currently, the Serbian military is exploring the most economical aircraft delivery options.
At the same time, there are still certain problems with the implementation of this defense contract. In particular, today in Serbia there is a limited number of technical personnel suitable for servicing the MiG-29 fighter. It is only enough to service the 4's existing MiG-29 fighters (one of which is in non-flying state), but by the time the 10 MiG-29 appears in Serbia with Russian delivery, the number of technicians must have reached the required level. At the same time, Serbia today hardly manages to maintain the serviceability of two airplanes simultaneously for the implementation of the country's air defense tasks, as well as the combat training of pilots. With the presence of three flying MiG-29, it is very difficult to carry out combat training of pilots.
There are also difficulties with the modernization of the Moma Stanoylovich aircraft repair plant, which Serbian MiG-29 fighters should soon take over for repair. At the same time, the repair of combat aircraft will be carried out with the direct assistance of Russia. This company will also have to carry out maintenance of Airbus H-145M helicopters on the second level (the cars themselves must be supplied to Serbia in 2018), as well as repair Gazelle and Mi-17 helicopters. The Serbian Defense Ministry plans to modernize the plant, transforming it into a regional service center for three types of helicopters: Gazelle, H145M and Mi-17. In addition, Serbia also expects to update the fleet of existing Mi-17 helicopters in the long term, but these expenses were not provided for in the 2017 budget for the year. It is assumed that the contract for the delivery of X-NUMX Mi-4В-17 helicopters to Serbia will be signed in 5 or 2018.
