"Kalashnikov" launched a series of unmanned reconnaissance complex ZALA 421-16Е2

The Kalashnikov Concern (part of Rostec) launched the latest Russian unmanned reconnaissance and surveillance system of the ZALA 421-16Е2 type into serial production. This was reported on Tuesday on the company's website.

This year the order book for complexes with ZALA 421-16Е2 has already been formed. Among the customers there are both state bodies and enterprises, as well as various commercial structures. TASS.

Neither in Russia, nor in the world there are no analogues ZALA 421-16Е2 in terms of functionality, simplicity and reliability of operation. In addition, unmanned aircraft has a silent flight mode, which is so important for law enforcement agencies. In this case, the first devices have already been transferred to customers.

The concern expects that in 2017 the unmanned complex aviation system will pass the stage of state testing.

Weight of new drone ZALA 421-16E2 - 7,5 kg, which is its distinctive feature. A day camera with 60x optical zoom and a thermal imaging module with 10x optics can be installed on board. The range for transmitting video information in difficult meteorological operating conditions is at least 30 km, and for control - at least 50 km.
The new drone can fly for four hours without a break, and its takeoff is carried out from the arm. ZALA 421-16EX2 will be publicly shown for the first time at the next International Aviation and Space Salon (MAX) in July and at the Army-2017 exhibition in August.
