According to information RIA News, head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko сообщил about the transfer of 150 telescopes by the President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaite to the Ukrainian military in the Donbass, including one acquired at their own expense.
According to him, this gift was timed to coincide with the visit of the Lithuanian President to Ukraine - "a great friend of the Ukrainian people." As Poroshenko believes, she could not come to visit with empty hands. Apparently, we are talking about military telescopes used in reconnaissance and observation. Although, given the level of authenticity of the modern Kiev authorities, it is possible that these were ordinary binoculars.
As the Kiev leader recalled, thanks to Grybauskaite, Lithuania is the first country to put a lethal country weapon.
