Press office Roscosmos announces the successful launch from the Baikonur cosmodrome of the Soyuz-2.1 launch vehicle with the Progress MS-06 transport cargo vehicle. The launch took place approximately at 12: 20 MSK in accordance with the ISS flight program. The launch pad was the site №31 at Baikonur. From the message of the department:
After 8 minutes 48 seconds after launch, the Progress MC-06 transport cargo ship successfully separated from the third stage and entered the specified orbit.
After the separation of the spacecraft from the third stage of the launch vehicle, the specialists of the Main Operations Group of the flight control of the Russian segment of the ISS (GOGU RS ISS) in the Mission Control Center (MCC) began to manage its flight.
The convergence of the Progress MS-06 transport vehicle with the station and the approach to the docking node of the Zvezda service module of the Russian segment of the ISS are planned to be carried out automatically under the supervision of GOGU RS ISS specialists in the MCC and the Russian cosmonaut Fyodor Yurchikhin.
The report says that the docking of the spacecraft with the International Space Station is scheduled for June 16, at about 14: 42 in Moscow.
