A large-scale exercise involving divisions stationed in Buryatia will be held at the Tsugol training ground in the Trans-Baikal Territory, reports TASS message press service BBO.

It is specified that at the end of June the field output of artillery units of the combined arms army of the BBR will start, which will end with a large-scale tactical exercise.

About 2,5 thousand troops and about 700 units of weapons and military equipment are involved in combat training activities,

According to the information, "the gunners will have to carry out live firing with direct and semi-direct fire, from closed positions using different types of ammunition."

“Subunits of multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) will work out the tasks of countering the artillery of a simulated enemy with an operational change of firing positions, as well as covering their motorized rifle and tank divisions ", - said the press service.

The servicemen have already begun training. “To date, weapons and tracked vehicles are being loaded onto the train for shipment to the exercise area. Military vehicles will overcome the route on their own. Soldiers will march in a combined way with a length of about 1 thousand km, ”added in the district.
