Long-range anti-submarine crews aviation Pacific Fleet began training flights, reports press office Eastern Military District.

It is reported that during the flights, “the crews of anti-submarine airplanes fulfill the tasks for their intended purpose: they search, classify submarines of the conditional enemy and track them with the integrated use of radar and sonar detection equipment”.
In addition, the crews of the Tu-142MZ perform flights for the maximum duration of stay in the air.
According to the information, “the pilots master the skills of passing a given course over an unoriented terrain, coherence of actions when piloting in the absence of ground radio-technical means of air navigation both during the day and at night.”
