"Akademik Pashin" in construction
Construction has been underway since April 26, 2014 under a contract with the Russian military department worth 2,978 billion rubles, concluded on November 1, 2013. The ship is designed for the North fleet (with transfer as agreed by November 25, 2016). The tanker was withdrawn from the boathouse of the plant on March 18, 2016 and launched on May 26, 2016.
As previously explained, then-Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral V.V. Teals, just for the needs of the fleet is planned to build four vessels of this type.
The 23130 project was developed on a competitive basis by ZAO Spetssudoproekt. The tanker with a deadweight of 9000 t has the greatest length of 130 m, width of 21,5 m, draft of 7 m, cruising range - up to 8000 miles, autonomy - 60 days, crew - 24 person. Ship's speed at full load with a maximum draft of 16 knots. As the main diesel power plant, it was planned to use imported engines.
