Russia and India set up a joint venture to produce Ka-226T helicopters

According to the Indian Embassy in the Russian Federation, 2 May 2017 was established by the Indian-Russian Joint-Stock Company India-Russia Helicopters Limited Company by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs of the Government of India, the main activity of which will be the production of helicopters. This event marked the formal establishment of a joint venture between the two countries with the participation of the Indian state association Hindustan Aeronautic Limited (HAL) and the Russian JSC Helicopters of Russia, as well as JSC Rosoboronexport. According to the information from the Indian side, this event was a key milestone in organizing the joint production of Ka-226T helicopters in India with the participation of Russia. The intergovernmental agreement on the creation of this joint venture was signed in the Russian capital even 24 December 2015 of the year as part of the 16-th annual Indian-Russian summit at the highest level.

Specialized blog bmpd notes that the assembly of Kamov Ka-226T helicopters in India as part of the established joint venture is planned to be deployed at the new production site of HAL, located in Tumakuru (located 74 kilometers north of Bangalore). The cost of production lines built here is estimated at 50 billion rupees (about 670 million US dollars), and the number of workers employed in the production of helicopters will be about 4 thousand people. The double highly maneuverable multipurpose Su-30CM fighter has super-maneuverability, is equipped with thrust vectoring engines (AL-31FP), a radar with a phased antenna array (HEADLIGHT), and also front horizontal tail. This fighter is able to use modern and advanced high-precision air-to-air and air-to-air weapons. A fighter can be used to train pilots for promising multifunctional super-maneuverable single-seat fighters.

The plane was created by the efforts of the Sukhoi Design Bureau and is manufactured at the Irkutsk Aviation Plant, a branch of PJSC Irkut Corporation. It is worth noting that, starting from 2016 of the year, the Russian Knights aviation aerobatic team of the Russian Air Force performs its flights on Su-30CM airplanes.

New details on the supply of Ka-52 helicopters to Egypt

In 2015, Egypt purchased X-NUMX Ka-46 attack helicopters from Russia, becoming the first foreign customer of these combat vehicles. According to the Director General of the Russian Helicopters holding company, Rostec State Corporation Andrei Boginsky, Russia will fulfill the first export contract for the delivery of Ka-52 Alligator attack helicopters up to the year 52. The first Egyptian military helicopters will receive in the summer of 2020 of the year. Flight tests of the first Ka-2017 military helicopters in export, made by Arseniev Aviation Company Progress specifically for Egypt, are currently being conducted. Algeria, which is traditionally included in the list of the largest buyers, can become the second foreign customer of these helicopter gunships. weapons Russian production.

Combat reconnaissance and attack helicopter Ka-52 "Alligator" is designed to defeat tanksas well as armored and unarmored enemy vehicles, their manpower, helicopters and other aircraft at the forefront, as well as in the tactical depth of their defense at any time and in any climatic conditions. The helicopter received powerful weapons and the most modern avionics. The helicopter armament can be changed for different combat missions, and the coaxial rotor design, which is the calling card of Kamov’s helicopters, allows the machine to effectively maneuver and perform complex aerobatics. In addition, the Ka-52 received a system of electronic protection and a device for reducing visibility, as well as active countermeasures. Today, these helicopters are in service with the Russian Aerospace Forces and take part in a military operation in Syria. The ship’s modification of the helicopter was part of the wing of the Russian aircraft carrier Admiral Kuznetsov during his recent campaign to the shores of the ATS.

According to the official broker state corporation "Rostec". Within a month, the results of the Egyptian Navy tender will be announced, according to the results of which reconnaissance-attack Ka-52 helicopters in the Ka-52K naval modification can be ordered in Russia. Andrei Boginsky believes that Russian-made combat helicopters have quite high chances of winning, since they are superior in characteristics to competitors' helicopters.

It is worth noting that the Ka-52K helicopters have already passed the first stage of sea trials, which took place from the end of 2016 to the beginning of 2017. Two Ka-52K helicopters took part in the tests. According to the results of the tasks set by the command, the tests of these combat vehicles were deemed successful. Helicopters have already been made available to engineers of JSC Kamov to carry out additional research work of the helicopter, as well as its individual components and assemblies, to make changes taking into account possible requirements from the military.

The Ka-52K combat helicopter is a continuation of the product line of “sea” helicopters created by engineers of Kamov JSC and adopted by the Russian Navy. This line includes such famous helicopters as Ka-25, Ka-27, Ka-29, Ka-31. The new Ka-52K combat helicopter is intended for patrolling and fire support of the landing force troops as they disembark, as well as solving the tasks of antiamphibious defense at the front line and in the tactical depth of the enemy defenses. The presence of modern equipment on board the helicopter provides the combat vehicle with navigation in the absence of landmarks at sea.

The Ka-52K version differs from the basic model of the attack helicopter by the presence of a shortened folding wing, which was specially modified for the installation of heavy weapons, as well as the blade folding mechanism, which allows the helicopter to be placed compactly in the hold of warships. The reduced dimensions of ship-based helicopters make it possible to place more such vehicles on a warship. The presence of an armored cabin and an ejection system allow pilots to safely leave the helicopter in an emergency. In addition, a Ka-52K helicopter was provided with a rescue device kit (KSU), which allows rescuing people in distress at sea.

Also, an important feature of this version of a combat helicopter was the use of corrosion-resistant materials in its design, which was due to the need for helicopter service in a marine climate (aggressive environment). The ship-based Ka-52 helicopter received an upgraded air conditioning system that allows for the ventilation of crew members' marine rescue suits. In addition, the Ka-52K was additionally equipped with a radio near-navigation system, which was not used on the base model of the helicopter.

Did everyone notice that the sharp increase in sales coincided with the successful debut of our weapons in Syria? Well, with the exception of K-226, about which negotiations have been going on VERY long.

And this is not only in the military industrial complex. I watched once an interview with one major businessman who said that after the start of our operation in Syria, customers from BV and other positions went to us in a jamb. For example, pharmaceuticals. Egyptians, Persians, etc.

Bangladesh - selling aircraft on credit. Debts will be forgiven; do not go to a fortuneteller.
Sales to Egypt due to the fact that the Mistral were ground for these helicopters.
MANPADS Willow of Armenia - the same story, there will be no money.
Assembling helicopters from machine kits in India is, in some ways, the only success.

I, cat, can I tell you a loan scheme? The loan, of course, is allocated -100 million dollars or 500 million dollars as you like, but no one will see this money in Bangladesh, because they will go to the manufacturing enterprise from the RF Ministry of Finance. What does it mean? That's right, hard workers will work and get paid, loading production, etc. Well, you understand ...

The location of the gun on the Ka-52 could be normal for 1990, but today we need a multi-angle.
