Results of the week. “Isn't it time for us to eat?”
In the center of public relations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the LNR, it is reported that the armed people attempted to engage in looting in the village, but met a tough response from the local residents who remained there. In addition, as stated, the Ukrainian soldiers tried to stop the looting by Georgian mercenaries, but this did not stop the Georgian "allies" of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
And what did these Ukrainian servicemen want - “bratushki” - the mercenaries kissed them in soft places and thanked them for letting them plunder and ponder? Well, no ... Looting, looting and will loot, at one time in Tskhinval, but obviously they are not going to kiss in a soft place and stop there.

Superfluous "piece of iron"
In total, Russian military railroad workers have laid out the 120 km of the so-called rail and sleeper grid from the planned 177,2 km at the Zhuravka-Millerovo section, bypassing Ukraine. All 100% excavation at the specified site should be completed in June of this year.
120 km. One of our readers says: “it will not be enough, so we once laid it in one day for a day ...” It is possible that the pace is not Bamovskie. Well, who said that they would force things. Indeed, the plans did not mean that "during the day." The work is going on - plus with the monitoring of what is happening in the Donbass - and suddenly the “piece of iron” will eventually turn out to be superfluous ...

Frankly speaking, such events rarely happen recently in our country. The time of “effective managers” and “restructuring to the market” has done its job. But after all, we straighten - we shake our heads and move forward. This, of course, can be overlooked, but then - forward to the party of Kasparov-Kasyanovs, who from all the diversity of the world can carefully choose the option of foreign grants? A plane - all the best in the air spaces.

"Oplot" of European Ukraine
Concern "Ukroboronprom" published a video with Ukrainian a tank "Oplot", which, according to the authors of the video, due to a significant number of modern systems and subsystems "is capable of performing combat missions in the daytime and at night, as well as in difficult climatic and geographical conditions in a wide temperature range."
The next presentation of the vundervafli, which, of course, will stop the “Russian aggressor” and move the Square into a bright European future. How many thousands of shells for this supreme commander should still be sent to the heads of the citizens of the long-suffering Donbass?

And Hde gunners in the Crimea?
From the note of the former deputy of the Kharkiv City Council, who moved to the Crimea for permanent residence:
In the Crimea, the next summer season begins, and in the motley crowd of holiday-makers again it will be easy to recognize the numerous holidaymakers from Ukraine. They look anxiously looking for traces of "occupation", marching columns of "invaders" and start at the sight of people in camouflage.
Indeed, it is strange ... And where are the machine gunners scurrying along the beaches, forcing people to keep pace and swim in strictly organized groups. Where the Crimean Tatars behind the barbed wire ghetto. Where is the crying of the Ukrainian-speaking Crimeans, whom the bloody gebnya makes only the occupying Russian rozmlyatti? .. No ... Why not! It is enough to include the average Ukrainian channel, where they will tell about it with smacking and hoping for the West in the penetrating gaze of the leading news broadcast.

Hold on, Rodrigo!
Philippines is becoming a new hot spot on the world map. ISIS fighters (* banned in the Russian Federation) are trying to expand their influence in the south of the country - in areas with a predominantly Muslim population. As previously reported, “Military Review”, the Philippine government attracted army units to the operation against terrorists, and President Rodrigo Duterte called on opposition insurgents to fight against ISIL (*) shoulder to shoulder with government troops.
Rodrigo, hold on! See how it goes, buddy. Only you began to cut down the wilds of the drug trade, as the "dissenters" suddenly showed up on the territory of the Philippines. And in a couple of days, ISIS was also brought up (forbidden in the Russian Federation). A few more successes in the fight against drug addiction, drug trafficking and a few more warm words addressed to Russia - you see, and “White Helmets” with GoPro will appear ... Hold on, Rodrigo!

About gas and princess
The Stockholm arbitration has satisfied the requirements of the Ukrainian company to revise prices on the contract concluded in 2009. This is an unprecedented decision, which now, in fact, opens up a new page in the economy - at any time the buyer of goods or services has the right to refuse to pay for purchased goods or services, stating that the contract was signed “without taking into account market conditions”.
"Ukrainians" are the same Russians
So they could not divide Princess Anna Yaroslavna - even Wikipedia was torn apart by the number of edits about the “Ukrainianness” of the ancient ruler of France. But then the past years, responding today. And what of today’s immediate - the decision of the Stockholm arbitration, which actually allowed Ukraine “one person” to revise the gas contract from 2009 of the year and pay as much as Ukraine itself decides. Now we are thinking of submitting to the local store in Stockholm arbitration, in which a sausage was purchased in 2009, today we decided that we were then expensive, let them pay a penalty for moral damage. Undoubtedly a billion dollars, for less - no, no ...

Who is piling on someone? ..
Comparison of different samples weapons or military equipment is a fertile subject for discussion, debate, and sometimes for swearing. Nevertheless, the dubious results of such a comparison do not stop debaters, specialists and the press, which, in particular, creates new interesting publications. Moreover, such articles attract the attention of readers.
To discuss how virtually one can virtually defeat another is, of course, an interesting matter. But something reminiscent of the children's question of who is trying to beat someone: Chuck Norris or Bruce Lee, and which of them is “stronger than bitsuha”? Against this background, I would like to hope that the state of affairs on the planet will not lead to real fights between T-50 and F-35. Let it be better to discuss the topic of who will give it to the teeth ...

About the 1 battles on 1: in the close battle, even Raphael blew 4: 1, where to go into his melee, at least reluctantly, but recognized. There will be few such battles, the tactic of using these "golden" fighters does not provide for dogfight from the word in general, only long-range and critical - medium distances, and they will go to the meat 4 + for finishing.
About T-50 my IMHO is not a serial fighter, therefore, the order from the Ministry of Defense is purely operational. Something whispers to me that T-50 is just being tested on what the current generation of 5 should be.

Strikes on militants
Four Caliber cruise missiles struck targets of the Islamic State (IG, a terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation) in the Palmyra area. "Calibers" released from the frigate "Admiral Essen" and the submarine "Krasnodar" from the waters of the Mediterranean Sea. All missiles reached their goals. "Gauges" hit heavy equipment and living force of terrorists transferred from Raqqa. Previously, the commanders of the United States, Turkey and Israel were notified of the launches. The Defense Ministry said that "Krasnodar" carried out firing from a submerged position.
And another message: “Syria Free News” was provided with video showing demonstration by Russian Ka-52 of strikes against military equipment “IG” in the Palmyra region. Helicopters fired anti-tank guided missiles at militant tanks and armored vehicles.
Finally, the TV channel Zvezda, citing a source in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, reports that the militants of IG were able to reach agreements with the Kurdish troops to withdraw from Raqqa in the direction of Tadmor (Palmyra). It is known that the first few groups of igilovtsev have already tried to go on a route towards Palmyra. However, at that moment they were attacked by Russian military aircraft. According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, as a result of the airstrike, at least 120 terrorists and 32 off-road vehicles equipped with anti-aircraft guns and large-caliber machine guns were destroyed.

Media: Russian Space Forces defeated the column of ISIS, moving to Palmyra
Russian Space Forces defeated another ISIS column at the exit from Raqqa
ISIS carries out fierce attacks of Deir ez-Zor
Successes in the fight against the militants do not mean that the latter have laid down their arms. The Islamic State has stepped up efforts to seize besieged Deir ez-Zor and the airfield, located a few kilometers from the city. The reason for the revolt of the militants was the active advance of the Syrian army to Deir-ez-Zor from the southwest, as well as the disruption of the transfer of Igilovsky units from Raqqah by the Russian Air Force.

New stage of the “Big Game”
Foreign analysts talk about Moscow’s support of the Taliban movement (by the way, this movement is prohibited in Russia, the list in which it was declared prohibited was published in 2015 year). According to some experts, the growing support of the Taliban by Russia will lead to serious "geopolitical consequences."
By supporting the Taliban, Russia risks pushing Central Asia into closer cooperation with the United States and China, Daniel Archik writes in Fair Observer. “The geopolitical implications of the growing support of Russia for the Taliban in Afghanistan” are very serious, the author of the material says, even though Russia, in all likelihood, provides such support “exclusively in spite of the United States.” The fact is that Moscow "inadvertently undermines its own interests in the region." And this is the “ironic and dangerous turn”, which marks the new stage of the “Big Game” in Central Asia.
Another accusation of Moscow’s ties with the Taliban came from Kiev. They didn’t have to waste time on trifles - they accused the Russians at the same time and of contacts with IG. At a meeting of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly in Tbilisi, the Ukrainian delegation handed over a report on Russia's relations with IG, the Taliban, HAMAS and Hezbollah to the Vice-President of the PA, Rasa Yuknyavichene. According to the head of the Ukrainian delegation, Irina Freese, the document refers to the links of the “Russian Federation with terrorist organizations in the Middle East and Central Asia”. The document contains “facts and analysis of ways of communication, support and coordination of actions of the Russian Federation with ISIS, the Taliban, Hamas, Hezbollah, etc.”.
A completely different truth was on the table of the NATO chief, Jens Stoltenberg. 24 May at a press conference, NATO Secretary General said that the North Atlantic Alliance does not have information that would confirm the relationship between the Russian authorities and the Taliban. “We saw the messages, but did not see definitive evidence of Russia's direct support for the Taliban,” Kommersant quotes Mr. Stoltenberg.
At the same press conference, Stoltenberg called on Moscow to join the peace settlement in Afghanistan.
Moscow hardly has anything against it: after all, it was in Moscow that two rounds of negotiations on an Afghan settlement were held, and both were initiated by the Russian authorities.

Oil vs. Socialism
Not the first month on the streets of Caracas and other major Venezuelan cities, many thousands of protest rallies take place. People come to rallies on their own and at the call of the Venezuelan opposition, whose leader Enrique Capriles Radonski, the former governor of the state of Miranda and the former presidential candidate, who gave up Maduro at the time with a slight lag (got 49% votes), declared himself the leader.
As a result, Venezuela split into two irreconcilable camps. And opponents of President Maduro is becoming more and more, due to the worst economic crisis. The crisis affected the citizens in a way that probably did not affect any other country in the Latin American region. The main reason is that the Venezuelan economy is tied to the export of energy resources, the prices of which continue to remain at the level that is clearly not enough to replenish the budget to the necessary volumes.

Zbignev left this world
Zbigniew Brzezinski died on the 90 year of life. This was reported by his daughter Mika, having made a posting on Instagram: “My father died quietly tonight.”
Zbigniew Brzezinski was a political scientist and statesman of a pronounced anti-Soviet sense. His interests in brief: scientific specialization in the USSR, anti-Sovietism, hatred of totalitarianism, the world championship of the United States, the idea of bringing the US closer to China in the peak of the USSR.
In the seventies and eighties of the last century, the politician enthusiastically played on the international “chessboard”. Later, when the Soviet Union lost the “party” of the Cold War, Brzezinski remained an influential figure in the United States.

Russia and France are getting a little closer
At a press conference following talks with Putin, the young French president reminded the public that three hundred years ago the Russian Tsar Peter arrived in France and absorbed the spirit of Enlightenment there. “Peter the Great was a symbol of Russia, which wants to open up to the world,” he said, making an ironic hint at the visit of the Russian president.
The main themes of the long meeting of the presidents of Russia and France, held in the Grand Trianon Palace of Versailles, were set by the host, Emmanuel Macron. The red lines across Syria, the likely new sanctions against Russia, the issue of peace in Ukraine, the next meeting of the Norman four, finally, the spread of "slander" during the French election campaign. As for the Moscow guest, he told the press about the search for "points of convergence." The only topic in which the parties found a common language was opposition to terrorism.
Putin, Merkel and Macron: Poroshenko, get out!
Demanding notes in a dialogue with a Russian colleague, originally heard from Monsieur Macron, are most likely not just an oratorical style, but an attempt to set the tone in further relations with Moscow. The French president made it clear that he does not share the values of Putin, that a new punishment of Russia in the form of sanctions is quite possible and that Putin, they say, arrived in Paris because Russia "wants to open up to the world." This publicly underlines Russia's dependence on an enlightened Europe and, in general, on the West. Western experts have long called the development of Russia "catching up."
On the other hand, the harshness and exactingness with which Macron is now noted, should be manifested not in words, but in deeds. Socialist Hollande went on about Washington and Brussels and lost his rating in France, abandoning the Mistral deal. The working class of this "socialist" naturally cursed, branded as a "traitor." Caring for the values and ideals of a united Europe and loyalty to the ideas of the White House should not harm the economic interests of the homeland. If Macron with his “demandingness” forgets about it, he will repeat the anti-record of Hollande, the people's confidence in which was approaching the zero mark.

And the first thing he invites to his "main enemy"? Not Merkel or May, and Putin?
And the type of 3 hours they talked about Chechen gays? Yeah. Directly believe. And what invited something? Show how he taxing?
And Putin, having thrown everything, got ready and came to the type of the enemy home? I didn’t come to Trump, didn’t come to May, but did I come to Macron, agreeing a meeting in the shortest possible time? Interestingly girls dance. More like that, Le Pen was for distraction and perspective.
Lost millions
World news agencies again returned to the contradictions of the interests of Eastern European countries (in particular, the Baltic states) and the construction of the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline from Russia to Germany. This time, the central theme of the reports was the reduction of cargo traffic from Russia to the sea trading ports of Latvia. As reported by Reuters, the Russian Railways company almost completely stopped cargo transportation to the ports of Latvia. According to the agency, this happened because of the refusal of Riga to support the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline.
Recall, the Freeport of Latvia Ventspils and its terminals Noord Natie Ventspils Terminals and Eurohome Latvija received an offer in April to participate in the construction of the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline.
Then, the Mayor of Ventspils and the Chairman of the Board of the Port of Ventspils, Aivars Lembergs, told reporters that the proposal would include taking pipes to Ventspils for building the pipeline, storing them at the port sites and delivering at sea to the site of the pipeline.
Lembergs noted that the port of Ventspils does not have such a volume of cargo platforms, therefore the investors of the project “Nord Stream-2” will invest 14 million euros in order to arrange storage and processing of pipes for the gas pipeline on seven hectares. These sites were then supposed to be transferred free of charge to the port of Ventspils. The calculations showed that the income of the Latvian economy from participation in the project could amount to 25-30 million euros.
However, after the mayor’s speeches, the Minister of Economy of Latvia Arvil Asheradens hastened to make a statement. He categorically rejected the country's participation in the construction of a new gas pipeline and stressed that "the government has already decided not to participate in this project in any way." And the instruction was given: “State representatives on the board of directors of the Freeport Ventspils vote against entering the project”.
As for the reduction of cargo traffic from Russia to the ports of the Baltic States, this is, as noted by columnist G. Granovsky, a separate topic that has little to do with the gas pipeline being built. Its trigger was the unprecedented Russophobia of the Baltic elites. Russia responded to this by building and expanding its ports on the Baltic Sea. Only the new sea trade port in Ust-Luga pulled over almost 100 million tons of Baltic trade turnover. These trends are increasing. Until the end of the year, Transneft, for example, will completely abandon the oil transit through the Baltic States. Cargo will go to the ports of Primorsk, Ust-Luga and Novorossiysk.

Putin after Genghis Khan
Polish newspapers publish a lot of articles on the eternal Russian theme. The authors of some materials even hint at the imminent Russian invasion: they say that once was Genghis Khan, and now Putin is here. The portal fronda.pl, quoted by Reedus, published an article that tells about the medieval invasion of the Mongols into Poland, and then concludes that now the European enemy is threatened by the “Asian enemy” represented by Putin: “Today on the eastern flanks the Christian European civilization is once again facing an Asian enemy, as always, striving for power over the whole of Europe, and perhaps even the world. He showed his intentions already in the 2008 year, having carried out aggression against Georgia, and in the 2014 year, by annexing the Crimea. ”
Polish analysts are thinking: how to respond to Russia, in which Soviet totalitarianism replaced the "tactical unification of imperialism with elements of the Russian Orthodox faith"?
However, according to the latest poll “Sputnik. Opinions”, a significant part of Westerners do not agree with the statement that Russia is planning an invasion of Poland, and at the same time the Baltic republics.
Recall that in Poland and the Baltic republics, certain forces have for several years stubbornly reiterated the “Russian threat” and “plans” of the Kremlin for “occupation”. At last year’s summit of NATO (held symbolically in Warsaw) it was decided to strengthen the eastern flank of the North Atlantic Alliance.
However, the Russians still have not come to war.

Gunpowder is not enough
With a “direct confrontation” with the West, Russia is likely to lose: Robert Beckhusen speaks about this in the American edition of War is Boring.
Russian military spend their explosives in Syria. This war has exhausted Russia's military reserves, the analyst notes. An air campaign requires a complex supply chain. The belligerent has enough rockets, it drops enough bombs, but rockets and bombs require large investments in materials and chemicals. And sooner or later the moment will come when the supply chain feels overstrained.
For almost 20 months, Russia is participating in the civil war in Syria, reminds Beckhusen. And already begins to affect stress. According to some estimates, due to the strikes in Syria, the Russian arsenals are emptied "by almost 40 percent."
The author submits this information with reference already to the Russian edition - the “influential Russian defense newspaper” “Military Industrial Courier” (“MIC”). It was she who reported a shortage of Russian military chemicals. “If you do not take measures, the Russian army will soon be left without ammunition, tanks, ships, airplanes and helicopters will become a normal means of transportation,” the American quotes Oleg Falichev from the military-industrial complex.
Falichev himself Recallsthat millions of people have diplomas of higher engineering education in Russia. But only five hundred thousand people are engaged in design and survey and design production. “We have an excessive number of people with technical university degrees, often purchased, and critically lacking professionals,” the expert notes with sadness. “At the same time, the social status of the Russian engineer is extremely low.” He also indicates that the defense plants in the country are put up for sale, their liquidation continues. Where is the way out of this situation? “It’s not too late, we need to figure out what powder industry we need, how to preserve and replenish its human potential when the expansion of temporary workers-managers to enterprises ceases,” the author points out “i”.
This is a recent article, dated on the "MIC" 24 May 2017. However, economists and production workers have written about the collapse of industry, including the defense industry, since the 90s of the last century. And the endless discussion of one sore subject means one thing: and things are there.
Hence the opinion of the West: the Russians will lose the large-scale war for the simplest reason - because of the bankruptcy of their own industry.

This, however, does not mean that there is no problem, it just has to be solved in a different plane. And with engineering personnel, and with research and development, and with production.
There are problems, they need to be addressed. It’s just not necessary to panic. In wartime, the panickers were set against the wall, provocateurs as well. Fortunately for them, we live in peacetime.
