Five Russian diplomats are expelled from Moldova
Moldovan President Igor Dodon called the expulsion of Russian diplomats an outrageous act.
Recall that the other day two Russian diplomats in Estonia were declared persona non grata.
News of the expulsion of Russian diplomatic workers come against the backdrop of information about the most severe political crisis that erupted in Moldova. The government is “losing” its liberal part in the person of Deputy Prime Minister for Social Affairs Gheorghe Brega, Minister of Education Corine Fusu, Minister of the Environment Valery Munteanu and others.
One of the reasons is the corruption scandal, in which representatives of the Liberal Party of Moldova were implicated.
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, Pavel Filip, declares that until the autumn of this year, which is scheduled for government reform, new ministers will not be appointed.
The other day in Moldova, the head of the administration (mayor) of Chisinau, Dorin Chirtoaca, was detained. This is reported by the portal Noi.md. In the case of corruption, 6 people were still detained, most of whom represent the Liberal Party of the country. Moldovan liberals called this a “political order.”
