World aviation The public was shocked by yesterday's presentation by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadi-Nejad of the "ultra-modern unmanned long-range bomber" Karrar. The bomber came in two colors: red (for enemies) and golden (for presentations). The aviation community was shocked, however, not so much by the colors as by the shapes.drone". Everyone agrees that they are remarkably reminiscent of Nazi designer Wernher von Braun's V2 rockets, with which the Fuhrer tried to destroy London in 44.

They also bear a striking resemblance to the American Firebee and the Soviet Tu-143, as well as the Italian Mirach. All of the above were developed in the mid-60s based on the same von Braun design. An interesting feature of the Iranian "drone" is the fact that it is most likely a rocket-propelled missile with a standard American Mk 82 bomb attached to it. It also resembles the Iranian cruise rocket, produced on the basis of the Italian Mirach. The combat qualities of such a new product are questionable, however, it should be remembered that in any case, the use of even poorly controlled missiles can cause serious damage.
