The Sukhoi Company (part of United Aircraft Building Corporation PJSC) on Monday handed over the first batch of Su-34 serial bomber to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation this year, reports RIA News the press service of the company. The number of aircraft transferred is not reported.

The Russian Defense Ministry entered into a launch contract for the supply of Su-34 front-line bombers in 2008. Russian Aerospace Forces expect to receive more than 100 units of these combat aircraft.

Today (Monday), the Sukhoi company handed over the first batch of Su-34 front-line bombers to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation as part of the 2017 state defense order of the year. The planes took off from the airfield of the Novosibirsk Aviation Plant named after V.P. Chkalov and headed to the place of their deployment
- the report says.

It is noted that now the aircraft works with maximum efficiency. The state contract with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation for the supply of Su-34 before 2020 to the Russian Aerospace Forces ensures a stable workload of the enterprise for the coming years and determines the prospects for long-term development.

Front bombers are successfully used in the troops and demonstrate high performance, said in the "Dry".

Deputy Defense Minister Yury Borisov said earlier that the Su-34 "has established itself from the best side in the Syrian conflict, has a huge modernization potential and is an airplane of practically a new generation." A front bomber can lift into the air up to eight tons of combat load. It reaches speeds up to 1,9 thousands of kilometers per hour. The range of the Su-34 is up to 4 thousands of kilometers.

Of all the cars based on the Su-27 airframe, IMHO, the Su-34 is most attractive. good Of all the Russian aircraft, it is the Duckling that really has no analogues in the world. The front-line bomber, with a large radius, an armored cockpit with a transverse arrangement of the seats of the pilots, as well as the presence of a kitchenette and toilet - is kind of unique. The only and most similar foreign analog to it I would call the American F-111.

That is, the fact that the company is working according to plan and does not disrupt production is already news?

"The plant works with maximum efficiency" - This is how many planes per year? And how many Su-34 have already been delivered to the troops?

It seems to me that the first production went from 2006 - this is 95 units (including these 4pcs).
And the experienced and pre-production only 7 pieces until 2006.
But in general 102pcs, I agree with you.

5 boards of the military series before the first contract. There were all kinds of improvements, tests were carried out. They did not go to the troops. 1 side was in Akhtubinsk, 1 in Lipetsk. Where else 3-KhZ
If you count with them, then yes 95 boards.

Do you think there are 100 boards? belay After all, there are hundreds of old cars to replace! Wear is high, and this hundred will not greatly change the situation in aviation.

I do not think that Su-24MP will be replaced by su34. Rather, they will be replaced by drones. They will be changing exactly Su24m, that is, front-line bombers.

Few, but in the current economic environment it’s hard to expect more.

Not even much is left. About 120 Su-24Ms are actually left to be replaced. And it’s good if it works out in a ratio of 1 to 1.

Given that we do not have an ISA, attack aircraft are very worn out, TU-22m3 missile carriers are in poor condition, and strategists can barely breathe - you need 300 SU-34 pieces at least ....

Then you need to either increase production in Novosibirsk or connect another plant. Otherwise, at the current pace of production, it will drag on until 2030. The plane will be completely outdated by this time. And they should carry out modernization, try it out, modify serial airplanes, etc.
