The ships of the Pacific Fleet today perform tasks in various parts of the oceans. In particular, the Varyag Guards missile cruiser took part in an operation in the Eastern Mediterranean - off the coast of Syria. The flagship of the Pacific Fleet of the Russian Navy carried out the cover of the Russian military base “Hmeimim” in the province of Lattakia, as well as the naval supply center Tartus.
In addition, Varyag recently took part in a number of exercises, including the joint Russian-Indian naval maneuvers Indra-Nevi.
