Turkey successfully tested new shock Drones own development. Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) and the Turkish Ministry of Defense dropped bombs from an Anka-S unmanned aerial vehicle for the first time, reports "Warspot" with reference to janes.com

During the first combat test, the drone hit the target with Roketsan MAM-L adjustable bombs. In the military, tests have been recognized as successful, and in the future, the UAV will be tested by CİRİT laser-guided missiles and UMTAS long-range anti-tank missiles.

Turkey successfully tested the new Anka-S UAV

According to the contract signed in 2013 by TAI and the Turkish Ministry of Defense, the manufacturer must supply the army with 10 Anka-S units by the end of 2018. According to representatives of the Turkish military department, the main purpose of military drones will be the fight against Kurdish armed formations inside the country, as well as in the regions of Syria and Iraq adjacent to Turkey.

The development of the Anka drone began in 2004 year - after the refusal of the United States to sell Turkey the impact drones Reaper and Predator. TAI has developed two versions of the aircraft: Anka Block A and Anka Block B (Anka-S). In the first version, the combat vehicle can perform reconnaissance functions, in the second, it can carry additional load in the form of bombs and missiles.

Anka-S has a maximum take-off weight of 1,6 t (payload - 200 kg). The wingspan is 17,4 m with a total length of less than 8 m. The drone is equipped with a Thielert Centurion 2.0 piston engine with a capacity of 155 l. with. The stated maximum duration of stay in the air is 24 hours, the flight altitude can reach 9 km.

Anka the machine gunner? The association with this name has been very persistent since Soviet times. Jokes about Chapaev and the company were folklore at that time.

Whatever you call it, it’s your own development and is ready for serial production. Turkey has become the sixth country in the world to develop and adopt shock unmanned aerial vehicles. Until now, countries with such systems in service have been the United States, China, Iran, Pakistan and Israel.

The Shahed 129 Iranian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is in service with the Iranian army and is actively used for combat support of the Syrian armed forces in the war on terrorism. This was recently reported by the media with reference to a statement by the representative of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC). —A UAV can cover a distance of two thousand kilometers and carry out combat missions outside national borders. The most effective is the radius of the UAV application up to 1,7 thousand kilometers. The duration of its flight can be 24 hours. It is known that these UAVs are capable of carrying four guided missiles placed under the wings of an aircraft. At the nodes of the suspension can also be placed up to eight rapid-fire installations to defeat both stationary and moving targets.
What is the Shahed 129 system? It is believed that it resembles the American apparatus RQ-170, also known as the “Kandahar Beast,” which in 2001, 225 kilometers from the border with Afghanistan, managed to capture the Iranian military. Structurally, the Shahed 129 is similar to the UAV Hermes 450 of the Israeli company Elbit - a high-wing with a V-tail, - however, it is larger than the Israeli aircraft. Rather, the Shahed 129 UAV in terms of dimension takes place between the American MQ-1 Predator UAV and the Turkish Anka UAV, the analogue of which, with certain assumptions, can be called.

In your photo is not Shahed, but Hermes. Shahed does not resemble the American device RQ-170.

also do not understand, for example: is China a great power? ... great! they don’t hesitate to buy what they themselves can’t produce .. (S-400, Su -35) ours that have great opinions about themselves .... bought izrailsky crap .... but there are no drums and no .... pride it’s possible to moderate it ... buy from the same Chinese 20 pieces of SN-5 drums in Syria, they need them, than risk pilots

With this approach, all the military can be transplanted to imported equipment.

Now the pride disappeared with the Mistrals and Grena was postponed, then the pride faded with radio models on the radio.
Then we will begin to buy Abramsa tanks strongly B \ U, there is spacious and there is air conditioning.
It will all come to the point that our military industry will lose its potential and disappear, just as the poultry farms disappeared in their time and the legs of the bush began to be imported.

The order must be given to the state, more or less lively or a new design bureau, and wait for a result from them, well, flog them periodically if there is no result.

Percussion radio-controlled aircraft models, or briefly "Hurray";) part of the network-centric system, only then you can use them, and not like Iran or Israel flaunt your ears.

To do this, control centers, satellites, AWACS aircraft and ground targeting components are needed.

That's all together and gives the effect necessary from the use of "Hurray."
And since there is nothing of this and there is no relationship, then there will be no sense from “Hurray”.

While the rest of the grouping is developing, design bureaus can easily come up with models and poke all sorts of soap fotics and servos into them, maybe they will even do something decent after 100 years.

In the fleet, we produce only the auxiliary fleet and corvettes with boats for border guards, they are trying to give a couple of frigates to the Navy from the rejected order of India.
On tanks the same, T-90 refusals or Armata on the Star channel.

I saw all this technique at exhibitions.

                      Knee assembly in the garage.

India, Algeria have you been there and can you imagine what kind of countries these are?

In India, dead children are lying on the street and their dogs are eating in front of tourists in front of their eyes.
They buy tanks, only because of their low price.

Political and personal ties may have remained, but I think India will soon completely switch to China.

Turkey has successfully tested the new self-designed strike drone.

Not your own, but Israeli. Before Erdogan, Israel helped Turkey in this matter. EMNIP then sold the license. The Turks abandoned the Israeli payload in the hope of making their own. Made. But the flight range of the drone has become less. The Turks even claimed Israel despite the fact that the Turkish payload was heavier than the original Israeli.
