Russia in the UN General Assembly votes against the resolution on SyriaOn Thursday, Vitaly Churkin, the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN, said in a speech to the General Assembly that Russia had voted against the draft resolution on Syria before the UN General Assembly, because the draft did not meet the basic criteria for resolving the conflict in that country.

According to Churkin, the essence of these principles lies in the fact that "in Syria, the violence must stop all parties, and the necessary solutions will be found only as a result of the political process conducted by the Syrians themselves, open to all," ITAR-TASS reports.

The permanent representative of Russia stressed that the draft resolution submitted by Egypt “more reflects the tendencies causing our concern about the isolation of the Syrian leadership, refusal from contacts with it, imposing a political settlement formula from outside.”

Russia's permanent representative recalled that in order to give the draft to a balanced character, several amendments were proposed to it.

“The essence of the most principled of them was reduced to reasonable and non-conflict requirements for opposition forces — to separate themselves from armed groups that commit acts of violence, and to these groups to stop carrying out attacks on state institutions and residential areas,” Churkin said.

"Government forces must also leave the cities and stop their shelling," Churkin added.

But, as stated by the permanent representative, "our amendments to the consideration did not accept." "Under these conditions, Russia had no other options than voting against," he said.

The permanent representative to the UN assured that Russia "will continue its efforts to promote a way out of the crisis, cooperation with all those who put the interests of the Syrian people, security and peace in the region in the first place."

137 countries voted in favor of the draft resolution “The situation in the Syrian Arab Republic”, which represented Egypt, 12 - against, including China and Russia, 17 - abstained.

That's right, let them block. And then the builders of democracy are completely unbelted. It is interesting to see a list of 12 countries that voted against

The world cannot understand in any way that Russia will not give Syria so simply, it’s bad that they don’t understand that the United States will soon come to an end and it’s time to start making friends with Russia, and then it will be too late ... (I said about what Churkin, the representative of Qatar )))

Yesterday, on all the channels controlled by Putin, not a single piece of material devoted to the Syrian problem was passed! .. This makes us think ...

You know, Mr. Winston, it’s better not to be hypocritical, telling tales about the region where events are now developing in a one-sided direction, but to give rest to those who are interested, for a couple of days, from a simple statement of facts. This is more decent than cracking through all the channels under control about protecting the people who are not asking for this protection and not putting everything that is upside down, calling bandits and their cartridges - liberators, and those who are trying to prevent bloodshed in Syria - instigators of conflict. So, what to think, of course, is necessary. But over how to prevent a pack of jackals from tearing Syria apart.

But before this week, from the empty to the empty, they chased the same thing, if everything is there for the old what to show there?

Well, why was there a big review on TVC in the evening events, and today it’s also in Russia1 (or vice versa, I don’t remember, I’m too lazy to watch)

Russia will surrender to Syria or not surrender, we learn after the election. In the meantime, everything is empty chatter.

After reading the article, I thought: what was the mind of the person who, having read the amendments proposed by Russia, simply ignored them, together with his colleagues. And he gave "his" resolution, knowing full well that its adoption would lead to thousands of innocent victims. After that, do they really consider themselves human or have resigned themselves to their bestial insides?
It is clear that the system does this, but after all, it consists of people. What the hell is going on in their brains.

But the resolution was still adopted - judging by the news. As I understand it, this is such a new move by the "democratizers": they failed to reach through the Security Council - they passed it through the Assembly, and now there seems to be an excuse (and the screeching on CNN costs them a little whether not a bombing permit was issued) to "help the oppressed insurgents, etc." I wonder if they start - what will ours do: will they merge like the others, or will our country still show its teeth this time?

Obama: "Let there be no doubts, America intends to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, and I do not rule out any options for achieving this goal." Admiral Michael Mullen: - "America clearly states - it has a plan to strike at Iran." The question is in Syria - until they do away with Syria - they cannot attack Iran. Saving Syria, we will save Iran.
