The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on its official website launched a virtual tour of the Arctic Trefoil military base. The Russian military base is located on the Franz Josef Land Archipelago. The very fact that the main defense department through the Internet allows any user to get acquainted with the life of the military base is a unique case in modern practice.
From the message of the information management and the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Russia:
There was a unique opportunity for the first time to get acquainted with the living and living conditions of the personnel of the military base with the help of a virtual tour of each of the four floors of the Arctic Trefoil residential complex, built in the interests of the Northern fleet in the Arctic. The 3D tour of the virtual military base clearly demonstrates how the rooms for the military, the officers' canteen, the gym and the concert hall, the atrium, the library, the greenhouse, and the medical unit are arranged and equipped.
The site contains not only the 3D version of the Arctic military base of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, but also a lot of photos telling about the living conditions of military service in the Arctic.
The Arctic Trefoil complex was built in the shortest possible time and, as stated, is used, among other things, to ensure the safety of the Northern Sea Route. You can carry out a virtual tour of the military base by clicking on link to the site of the main defense department.
