The mobile complex includes 4 mobile launchers on the MZKT-7930 chassis (2 missiles on PU), a control vehicle, transport-charging machines, and can additionally use targeting machines with the Monolit-B RLK.

The Ball anti-ship missile system was created by the Moscow Mechanical Engineering Design Bureau in cooperation with other domestic enterprises. The complex includes 2 self-propelled command and control posts, up to 4 units of self-propelled launchers, and, in some cases, transport and handling machines that allow the complex, if necessary, to produce a second volley. The X-35 / X-35Е and Х-35У / Х-35УЭ anti-ship missiles are in service with the complex, the maximum launch range of which reaches 260 km. A full volley of the complex, including the 32 missiles, is able to ensure the disruption of the combat mission of a large ship attack group of the enemy, its landing party or convoy.
